I come back regularly just to watch Ben pull things out of box .

Could you not save some of the liquid from the shrimp boil as a cajun fish/shrimp stock?

Find yourself someone who would get excited and trembling over your existence like Jamie did over Crystal hot sauce!

As a southerner, watching someone make a crawdad boil in such a small pot was interesting.

    The blooper is absolutely sensational

Giving this video a like, but also commenting. I understand he may have other duties, but Kush needs to be in more videos. The chemistry he has with the rest of the boys is unlike anything we've seen since James. Ditto Ben Slater. The camera loves them.

Might be because its from my neck of the woods but you guys got ripped off for the seafood boil- at $145, you're going to have high quality seafood that'll feed your neighborhood over here. And gentlemen please….you're supposed to use a stock pot

plastic, cardboard, plastic… repeat. because you are too lazy to cook for yourself

That shrimp boil, once the extras are added, I bet that if you just add another loaf of bread it would easily feed six, maybe even eight people. That effects the overall price. It's cheaper per person. But that doesn't mean better, just cheaper.

Louisiana here.DO NOT discard the garlic!Squeeze it on to the potatoes and corn!

    January 3, 2024 at 4:03 pm

Both! Of course, we have shrimp (seafood) boils at least 1x a month…

I have a comment: 8:31 I have spent the bulk of my life in texas, where such events are also common. Any huge pot of seafood will absolutely deliver overcooked seafood. I have never in my life enjoyed a “boil.” The corn is mushy, and water-logged; the potatoes are gross; add it to terribly overcooked, uncleaned seafood, and I say: no thank you. I genuinely believe you boys enjoyed it because you were traveling, and Brits have no tradition of dumping a pot of food onto newspaper. The novelty is what you enjoyed.💐In reality, no one pays attention to timings with the different crustaceans. Doing it in the home would likely produce a much better experience.

Holy cow dude. If we paid $75 for one meal for two, we'd be eating ketchup soup for every meal over the next 7 days.

As someone with a sea food allergy, the Wellington kit was defo my fave

  28. @huggledemon32

    January 3, 2024 at 4:03 pm

One thing I think these kits can be good for, is if you’ve been to scared or intimidated to try a particular dish or recipe, these give you a certain level of safety net, which may give you the confidence to try cooking it from scratch in the future🤷‍♀️👍🏻

I was excited to see the boil kit. I have made many time and love them. I don't know about prices in England but to me in the US the price seemed a little high for before the extras. You definitely needed a bigger pot. We use one labeled turkey fryer, they are done out side on a propane burner. I'm so glad you all enjoyed it, it looked fun.

Found the Crystal hot sauce in Norway… This hot sauce is on another level… It's insanely good and balanced… Can eat it by the spoonfull 🤤
