mayo was a life changer for me. never using butter for my grilled cheese ever again. my favorite grilled cheese is an apple, marscarpone, candied pecans, honey and mozz on grilled rye. And I despise caroway with a passion. That's how good it is.

Nooooo! Cervelat is a hideous Sausage served at BBQs and public events. It's made from mostly garbage and some compatriots swear by it and put loads of mustard on it. Also, it has a dark-brownish color. But we do have Salami in the south. And we dress up like this mostly for Oktoberfest (which is in Munich…)

Wow Mike, just a few seconds into the video and you offended my country Switzerland in so many ways. As you are a british barbar and otherwise reallly lovely, you are forgiven. Would you not be that lovely, I dont think that you would have been able to come even close to Switzerland without risking to be killed by "accident", with a cheese fondue caquelon by accident crashing your head to pulp,or a raclette oven roasting uncomfortable parts of a male body way too much or something similar.

The BEST toasted cheese s'wich uses 5+ kinds of cheese (Mt Eggmaont, Gruyère, Colby, Tasty, and Brie), a pinch of pepper, a small amount of red onion finely chopped, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, half a teaspoon of mustard, a sprig of finely chopped fresh tarragon, some garlic chives, one raw egg yolk, and a dash of truffle oil all mixed in a food processor, and rolled out like pastry, cut into the shape of the bread and placed in a wood fired pizza oven.
Use a good quality rustic bread loaf – You can use a mix of white and wholemeal or even enriched bread.
You also butter the outside of the bread (with softened butter) (sprinkle over sesame seeds and a fine layer of fresh Parmigiano Reggiano) and not the inside. and make sure the crusts are covered in butter. Butter the top and halfway through the cook flip and butter the new top (sprinkle the newly buttered side with sesame seeds and a fine layer of fresh Parmigiano Reggiano) before continuing the cooking
Serve with a fresh salad or bowl of soup

My grandma raised us on grilled cheese & tomato soup (if we were out, we’d dip in ketchup) and then she’d also make us peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with chicken noodle soup. Sounds strange is delicious highly suggest trying it.

You did the last place dirty. You asked 3 things which are completely irrelevant to cooking, while someone was asked how fermented cabbage is made. I was really expecting you to ask someone else how pasta is made, or if soy sauce is salty, just to spite the poor guy in last place.

It took me a while to get what Mike ment with the 'spiced swiss ham' which is called Cervelat (a little bit differently pronounced) and I just wanted to add thay first of all it is a sausage aswell and secondly does not taste like salami at all haha.
