Cutting tax is the way to go but it must be matched with cutting government spending and making the NHS a place that is there just to keep you healthy nothing else and of course foreign aid should be scrapped and after the war in Ukraine is over that means military foreign aid also.
Finally a heap of civil servants need to go and don't start me on the money that the government pay out to NGOs.

Why allow labour any say now, at the end of the day this is an internal conservative party issue. Once the new cabinet is known that's the time to allow labour or others to comment. No political balance needed during this time.

A few weeks ago all these Tory pretenders voted for tax hikes. They hold the electorate in utter contempt. The Tories think we're idiots (a lot of their base is).

    1. Boris was elected to get Brexit done.
    2. Boris was elected because he wasn't Corbyn.
    3. All parties voted for lockdown, which is the real cause of the economic crisis.

Simple, stop Foreign Aid, stop funding the UNO, stop funding the WHO and open a tent camp for illegals in the North of Scotland, do away with Arts Council funding, cut the Civil Service, remove all green subsidies, use the money saved to remove all fuel excise, , remove VAT on fuel and watch the economy boom

Well if the tories intend to depart from their manifesto commitments then they need a new explicit mandate from the electorate. Swingeing cuts would be such a departure. They would probably increase the likelihood of a yes vote in a Scottish referendum as well.

None of our MPs get it they wasted 2 yrs locking down the country on and off and paying the public to stay at home and now the country is trillions in debt that will certainly restrict how much can be done in terms of tax cuts etc. It wouldn't be so bad but now we find out lockdowns did very little to stop the spread of Covid. Labour are moaning but if they had their way the country would have been locked down even longer.

we 2.3 trillion in debt we need less public spending less taxes higher Interest rates. we got inflation because there spending what the UK does not have.

Labour accusing anyone of fantasy economics is beyond hilarious.

Liebour probably worried about the number of made up totally unnecessary diversity managers that would be facing the culling, why is it that Liebour politicians always say something can't be achieved yet never seems to give a plausible alternative to how the goal can be achieved?

I remember how Gordon Brown's government left the country. I can't believe this man dare open his mouth when it comes to economics….or anything else for that matter.

The fantasy is that spending two years turning the economy on and off like a tap and creating outrageous amounts of new money to reimburse people wouldn't cause inflation

TRAIN WHEELS SHOULD BE 26 INCH BY 4 INCH (THE WORKING PART THAT SITS ON THE RAILS) THEN A 3 DEGREE FLANGE TO A HEIGHT OF 2 INCH WITH A 1 INCH WIDE RIM.
THE "PENDALINO" DOES NOT HAVE CORRECT SIZE WHEELS, AND SO THEREFORE IS DANGEROUS, THE TRAIN SWAYS , WOBBLES ,"HOLMS and WHINES", AND IS PRONE TO DE-RAILMENT, AND TAKES MORE ENERGY TO PROPEL IT TO THE SAME SPEED ,AS IT WOULD A CORRECT 26 INCH DIAMETER WHEEL.
26 INCH DIAMETER IS THE CORRECT COMMUTERTECH WHEEL.

PAVING FLAGS MUST BE KEPT AT LEAST 6 INCHES AWAY FROM WALLS, TARMAC MUST BE KEPT 8 INCHES AWAY FROM WALLS, FOR RAPID FIELD TRANSPIRATION , AND WALL HEALTH.

OR ELSE MILDEW FUNGUS AND ALGAE WILL PROPAGATE IN THE DAMP DANKNESS, PRODUCING ACEIC COMPOUNDS AND POTASSIUM CYANIDE AMONGST OTHER

UNHYGIENIC COMPOUNDS. WHICH MAKES THE BUILDINGS UNCOMFORTABLE , AND THE STREET ATMOSPHERE UNCOMFORTABLE.

Makes a change, perhaps Labour could put up their policies for them to be tested by experts (not their experts)?

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
