Saudi Arabia says Yemen’s Houthis will face ‘consequences’ after series of deadly attacks | BBC News
Saudi Arabia has said the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen will face “consequences” after a series of deadly attacks on Riyadh’s airport and other sites across the country.
Meanwhile, Houthi media reported an oil facility in the Yemeni capital Sanaa has been hit by Saudi-coalition forces.
And the head of MI5 said Iran is expanding a hybrid campaign in the UK, targeting Jewish communities and military bases.
Elsewhere, the International Monetary Fund said the global economy has dealt with the impacts of war in Iran better than expected, but warns that countries are running out of flexibility to tackle rising prices.

At least 33 children and one teacher have been killed after a school roof collapsed in Pakistan, with hospitals saying the large majority are children under the age of 13.
Police have arrested the owner of the school and the structure of the building is being investigated.
Emergency services rushed to the private Al-Khair school in the Dir Colony neighbourhood from after 08:48 local time (04:48 BST).
Rescue workers and residents searched the rubble for hours, looking for more children who could be trapped.
In a statement, the office of Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari says “this heart-wrenching tragedy has plunged the entire nation into shock”.

A diplomat’s job is traditionally to represent their country’s interests while maintaining good relations with their host nation. But some of Donald Trump’s ambassadors are taking a different approach.
On Tuesday, Kimberly Guilfoyle resigned from her ambassadorship in Greece after serious allegations were raised about her conduct. According to reporting by the Wall Street Journal, the former fiancée of Donald Trump Jr. allegedly asked a Trump donor to pay off her $100,000 Amex bill — allegations she denies.
Guilfoyle is not the only ambassador to have caused a stir. US envoys around the world have sparked diplomatic rows, controversy and, in some cases, appeared to step beyond the traditional boundaries of their role.

Katie Zacharia is “transitioning out” of her role as White House press secretary, the White House has confirmed to the BBC.
They did not provide a timeline for when she would be leaving the position.
US President Donald Trump earlier said he told Zacharia to “reconsider” her role.
He said he told her, “You don’t have to do this”, after her debut in the briefing room earlier this week.
Zacharia has been treated “very, very badly” by the media in recent days, Trump told reporters outside the White House.

I am the one who placed a Harassment complaint against my supervisor at WHO (World Hell Organization) in 2019, the investigation office reported that have opened the case and according to UN policy the outcome of the investigation must be reported back to compliant. But, nothing happened and of course my contract was not extended.

It seems that there is a lot of "emprovement" ado! Was it not enough organising and protecting human traffikers that forced women into prostitution through violencr and brutality? A lot of money in it isn't it? What about the young women abducted and forced to make babies human clones that are used for all sorts of illegal activities ranging from money laundering, frodes, impersonating important politicians, implanting fake evidences, confusing criminal investigations, experimenting new medications (a lot of money in that) etc. Moderna was quick at finding a vaccine is it not? a previous USA study had to shut down after 10 years researching a new vaccine based on DNA because after 5 years from inoculation all the laboratory animals were getting massive liver inflamations, caners etc.

Somehow unsurprising in a multi-cultural group in which people are trying to find ways of relating and finding peace between countries, those circumstances make it difficult to say something to counsel members from societies that are brutal. I had an uncle that worked as a UN lawyer, it was not about power but a commitment to peace and a better world. There may be some jerks, or ignorance, but the majority only care about a better future. You don't get famous (rarely) working for this organization. I don't think they go to the UN as a safe place to be predatory, they just came from places where that attitude is considered normal and the other people don't know how to both negotiate and punish people at the same time. The UN is useless, remember that Ukrainian representative almost begging on his knees for UN and /or NATO intervention so his country does not get bombed to oblivion. Or how Russia gets to veto a vote after clearly starting a war? Or North Korea being head of the disarmament group while launching missiles towards other territories all the time
