Not Baz talking down on Jamie's cooking when he has left his hob on at home for ages

    Failed to celebrate mushrooms!
Final dish looked like it could use a sauce

I’m not a person who’s very inventive when it comes to vegetables, peas, carrots, broccoli florets and cauliflower florets get boiled for a Sunday roast, courgettes, peppers of assorted colours and different colours of onion get lathered in oil and chilli flakes and roasted for simple fish or meat dishes and tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce get washed and prepped raw for salads. That’s the extent of my use of vegetables but today I’ve learned that a cauliflower can be made into a ‘steak’ which I’d never have even considered being a thing and is something I’m intrigued to try but not celebrate as the focal point of the dish but an assortment to a protein which is probably not the intention of having a cauliflower steak 😂😂

I know I’m not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to cooking and I’m definitely less knowledgeable than all of these guys but Jamie saying mushrooms cannot be overcooked seems wrong 😂😂 it might be an ingredient that has a very wide cooking range but I’m almost certain that basically every single ingredient on this planet can be overcooked, like I’m sure if I left some sliced mushrooms frying in a pan on the stove for 4 hours they wouldn’t just be overcooked, they would be better described as being nuked 😂😂

This is another one of those unnecessarily difficult themes for Pass It On. When there’s no communication between cooks and Jamie spafford and Barry Taylor being let loose with no supervision only spells disaster 😂😂

You all worked really well in this one. I think Barry did best because he didn’t go rogue and just did the right thing and cooked what was there. ❤
