China: “the world’s biggest camera surveillance network” – BBC News
China has been building what it calls “the world’s biggest camera surveillance network”. Across the country, 170 million CCTV cameras are already in place and an estimated 400 million new ones will be installed in the next three years.
Many of the cameras are fitted with artificial intelligence, including facial recognition technology. The BBC’s John Sudworth has been given rare access to one of the new hi-tech police control rooms.
Producer: Joyce Liu. Camera: Wang Xiqing.

A BBC News investigation has uncovered failures in the diagnosis of serious medical issues during private baby scans.
More than 200 studios across the UK now sell ultrasound scans, with hundreds of thousands being carried out each year.
But the BBC has uncovered evidence of women not being told about serious conditions and abnormalities.
The Care Quality Commission says there is good quality care in the industry but it has a “growing concern”.

Activities which strengthen the muscles – like weightlifting – should be part of an older person’s weekly exercise routine, a study suggests.
People doing both aerobic and muscle exercises were more likely to live longer than those who did just one or the other, US researchers found.
But you don’t have to go to the gym – carrying heavy shopping bags, digging in the garden and pilates all count.

BBC is a Lier about China. Put a gray filter on the video about China, make a false news by shooting the security guy with strange angle etc. Most of the accusations it made were proven false.
Typical Propaganda Machine.

Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

Wow! That's amazing!!!
Least chance for crime!!!
…. Now some jokers will shout loud about "privacy"
….. I wonder what kind of privacy you need in public place???
….. I guess privacy is required only at 3 places bedroom, bathroom and toilet….
….. If someone needs privacy at any place other than these three places, then probably he/she wants to do something illegal

China has 3 times the population of EU and USA combined, therefore expect more surveillance cameras at public places.
Your country have surveillance cameras everywhere too. In crime watch, you use your surveillance tapes as evidence to nab the criminals. If you have nothing to hide, why so afraid of the camera?
The pioneers of surveillance software are UK and US . Edward Snowden revealed about PRISM and the people who are spying and eavesdropping on their citizens and the world leaders, Germany is one of them. The world is blind to the faults of some people who is the pioneer of spying of millions of Americans and world leaders.
No one beats the west on surveillance. Iris recognition technology . Phone tapping of world leaders..😮
