Why are parents allowing this if they feel this way as a younger person and they ask for the operation tell them no and if they still feel this way when they’re older then you can let them do it because they have more independence. They also don’t no a lot about the changes that the body needs to go through and they might not know about what being gay is so they don’t understand it and may regret it in the future.

I know someone who took puberty blockers when they were younger & now this person is suing their parents. This person cannot experience pleasurable sex among other health complications because their parents put them on puberty blockers. I honestly think that when these trans-kids grow up that suing their parents is going to be the norm. I really hope that my friend gets justice because it's not their fault that their parents did this to them.

Ah yes, "footballers and fairies", the two genders. 😒 Nonsense. Stop putting kids in such tiny boxes. If your kid wants to wear nail varnish and Hello Kitty and "girl stuff" then let them. How do interests and fashion make your sex and gender?! It's ludicrous.

The social contagion is obvious. Lily, a boy, is friends with another boy called Jessica. Then the school helps to spread the contagion by the headteacher making the announcement in assembly that a boy will now be called Jessica. Then there's the Freudian slip at 8.50 where Jessica says that he doesn't think he should be a girl. Victoria then causally asks what he is going to do about being uncomfortable with a male body and he says it can be fixed. No surprise the mums took him to the Tavistock to be affirmed and they seem very keen to have a 'trans' kid. They dismiss the idea that it's just a phase when the child is only 8 FFS!

Lily and Jessica’s parents met through a Mermaid Support Group the now discredited organisation that is under investigation by the Charity Commission. The mums say “Let the child lead the way” which is parentification of a child and a form of child abuse. Transhausen parents!!

It's awful these parents are celebrating these delusional thoughts! Come on!! Children want to pretend to be lots different things but the reality is its MAKE BELIEVE!! Females are more than plastic boobs & wigs! It's vile these ideas are pushed in this way. The damage its causing is already evident. One school has over 30 kids in 1yr seeing a therapist because they are unsure about their gender! Wtf!! Its nonsense

Why is everything so gendered? I was looking at the photos of me as a kid in the 90s the other day and the kids were all wearing pretty similar stuff – hideous polar fleece jumpers and T shirts and leggings – but it was chilled out. We only ever wore dresses for special occasions really.

My 13 year old granddaughter wants to be a boy. She/he is in the process of taking hormone shots. She/he says she/he is going to start taking testosterone soon. Her parents have permitted her to do so. Does coming from divorced parents have anything to do with it ? The fact that both parents were religious and now aren't? The fact that one parent is addicted to pornography, and the other has several LBGT friends? Or that her mother created a Facebook page for her/him as transgender 2 days after she/he told her she/he wanted to TRY and be a boy FOR A WEEK. BEFORE she consulted with her ex! I just don't know. My son found out his daughter wanted to transgend when he saw her/his Facebook page! My son didn't know what to do, but he loves his daughter/son and wants her/him to be as happy as she/he can be. She/he was in a depression before this occurred and now seems a lot happier. She/he is also seeing a therapist. Time will tell….

US hits ‘dozens’ of Iranian sites in strikes, as Iran targets US bases in region | BBC News

Published

on

The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.

“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.

In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

Trump demands 20% toll on cargos passing through strait of Hormuz | BBC News

Published

on

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.

He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.

Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.

Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.

The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

US launches more strikes on Iran and resumes naval blockade of ports | BBC News

Published

on

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.

Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.

President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.

Clive Myrie presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Sarah Smith in Washington.
