    I tested out Ben's recipe last week and they were good but I didn't feel like I was totally successful at them. Today I did Barry's recipe and they turned out incredible!

    Can tell he ain't a Baker considering he classified sugar as a dry ingredient. In baking sugar for some reason is put with wet ingredients cause….reasons.

    For the rise….. Temper for 45 minutes until it reaches around 65f degrees then bake at 325f for 28-35 minutes

    I made Ben's recipe a few days ago and it was SOOO good. I don't think I've ever tasted such vibrant orange flavour in cakes before. Definitely making it again!

    "raising agent"? So some baking powder, usually. Also with the buttermilk usually some baking soda to counteract the acid. Or maybe just baking soda?

    In case anyone is wondering, don't worry about not having a dough hook mixer – its totally unnecessary with muffin or similar baking.

    Anyone I need help with this! Apparently it's practically impossible to get normal olive oil anywhere for me.. they only ever have extra virgin olive oil… do you think it will change the taste of the muffins too much if I only use extra virgin? should I try just using less oil.. but will that make it dry.. it blows my mind that I can't find normal olive oil in any of the many stores i've been to

    I have a question: I tried making Ben's Muffins into the aforementioned cake but I feel the baking time didn't work so well for me. Any suggestions on how it would need to be adjusted?
