"It fell off the stick." I agree with this but it was just So Funny! He had his mind made up and the reasoning was exact. you can make a kebab rolll and then just stick the stick into it and roll it around, but it will just fall off. lovely video. enjoying the laughs.

You keep closing, "…in the opinion of one chef and three normals." Normals? Really?

From: "certified sommelier (Court of Masters Sommeliers Americas)"at an exclusive local place : "waking" of wine" (letting it sit open an hour) can be done instantly, without noticeable difference : Open bottle, blow over bottle opening (changing the air), plug opening, GENTLY rotate the bottle, bottom over top twice. reopen let sit 1 min for settlement. (possible future show?)

Well at least the bread bin does it's promise. It does it's job the way it's designed for. So that's good. Is it a must buy? No. Is it a good option buy? Yes.

  5. @kasgrieve9741

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

The chainmail chicken was such an unfair test, it got basted twice when the other only once, so you can’t even tell if it’s better than tinfoil or even nothing at all

  6. @johntaphouse5235

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

sooo, i dont get why your recorking your wine, beggars belief. what some people do huh

  7. @littlebigman6957

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

The benuendos that were missed with the kebab maker. I wouldn't have been able to stop myself.

  8. @moondog3056

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

The first guy was so painful to watch and listen to.

  9. @lellyt2372

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

I bought the bread bin after seeing this episode last year and I am super happy with it. My shop-bought bread lasts much longer and the bread I bake myself stays good for at least 2 days longer than in my old bread bin (regular one with no air vents, like a cookie jar style). A nice purchase for my family at least

  10. @nikushim6665

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

@2:11 Shame, you missed on some meme material right there by saying "Arise, chicken arise" followed by "shush, no he is legend"

  11. @Timlagor

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

How can you possibly not already know about vacu-vin?

  12. @Timlagor

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

    Problem with the bread bin
    1) doesn't look robust
    2) 'guide' gives excessively think slices.

  13. @Timlagor

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

Weird not to take the foil off and put back to brown off.

  14. @michaelratcliffe7559

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

The wine keeper does not work. Who -realistically – is opening a 750ml bottle of wine and not finishing it or is unable to put the cork back in – screw the top back on , or put a piece of plastic wrap over the open top? And as I said the bottle will be empty anyway – so this is useless.

  15. @michaelratcliffe7559

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

How do you get extra skewers for the kebab maker? Surely those sticks don’t make that piece of plastic worth £25 and surely you don’t have to buy a whole new maker to get more skewers, and surely you can get similar skewers in any grocery store.

  16. @michaelratcliffe7559

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

Can’t read through all of the comments but really of you are going to oil up your meat before roasting it – i can see absolutely no need for either the chain mail or the foil. Well oiling the meat before sticking it in the oven at temperature seals the meat and renders the use of the metal covering redundant. On the other hand it would be great to see the results of both methods with a chicken that has not been oiled up. If it works well and I can give the chain mail a quick rinse and trough it in the top rack of my dishwasher then its worth the money because I will likely not have to replace it for years if ever and it is not going out into thrash after single use which would be the case with foil.

  17. @cha0ticneutralbigs

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

Reminder that most things you don’t understand the use for is made for disabled people, like the bread slicer can be useful for blind and dexterity limited people

  18. @tiago9977

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

7:30 Ngl, I definitely hate slicing bread loafs normally (I struggle to cut thru the bread evenly without squishing it), so something like this acc sounds great. However, I feel like it's too restrictive with the size & shape of a loaf you can fit in the mold.

  19. @rrett44556

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

Not vacuvan, vacu vin, live vino, like wine, so vacu like vacuum, and vin like vino, vacuvin (va queue veen)

  20. @SirWhiteRabbit-gr5so

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

    Gee….
Here in the US that loaf would be atleast $4-dollars.

  21. @texben123

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

Only you have Chainmail in the kitchen is the prevent your wife from stabbing you to death for cheating.😂😂😂

  22. @ethancampbell215

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

I don’t think I’ll ever be in a position where I will back a crowdfunded kickstarter project because I dislike the gamble of putting my income into something where there’s no guarantee of a return. If my input has no guaranteed output the opportunity cost of that donation would be multiplied tenfold

  23. @1slow370

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

@9:52 of course they gave Jamie the thing that looks like a breathalyzer

  24. @imperialmoose

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

That chainmail looks like a nightmare to clean

  25. @doesitstill627

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

Would like to see a similar episode where you compare the additional spirits like vermouth, Curacao etc

  26. @kaitlynreimer2314

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

    "It fell off the stick!"😤

  27. @shepshape2585

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

So the kebab maker is $32US, which is about $13 too much. We love $19.99 here in the US for our TV gadgets. Plus, kebabs aren't a thing here. We do shishkababs, with meat and veg on a metal or wooden skewer on the grill, but as far as ground meat on a stick? Not a thing here.
Also, when trying to determine whether a wine vacuum makes a difference, why not blindfold the taster? Otherwise, his opinion is altered by knowledge.

  28. @IamHerbie

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

Who keeps wine open for that long without drinking it……… ha ha

  29. @Goldenhawk583

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

One good reason to not use "tin" ( aluminum/aluminium)foil: It is a neurotoxin, and it builds up in bodily tissues over time. Patients with Alzheimers have elevated levels of aluminium in the brain. Perhaps its good to use less of it?

  30. @Striker9

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

As fast as I go through aluminum foil, it might actually be a money saver even though it's 40ish bucks. 10 dollars for a thing of foil lasts me, maybe a month if that, I'm curious how long the chainmail actually lasts.

  31. @blakekeating2569

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

I have the wine one and it is great.

  32. @RinSyuveil

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

That bread bin is bloody worthless in my opinion it’s not air tight at all I can see bugs getting in and the only useful part is the bread slice guide just for people who want to slice bread but can’t (and did not wish to buy sliced bread from the store/ask the baker to slice it)

  33. @barbarasevens2195

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

I bought one of the bread keeper boxes about 40 years ago. It didn’t have the slicer but it was the same idea. Didn’t find it useful at all.

  34. @MetalHeadReacts

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

I used a vacu-vin back in the late 90s. We used them in a pub i worked in… hard to believe it's taken THIS long for it to get noticed…
And yes, it was Vacu-vin branded too

  35. @niko-1921

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

ben: ill have the vents open a little bit👹👹👹👹👹👹

  36. @EM2theBee

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

The chain mail looks really difficult to clean.

  37. @henrybrice86

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

    "It comes off the stick!"
If you're going to put it in a pita or a wrap, don't you kinda want it to come off the stick?

  38. @kajerlou

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

"1 pound 60 for that loaf" I wanna cry, I'd pay three times that amount for a loaf half that size. There just aren't any bakeries making bread like that around me… No, I don't want to bake my own bread which would start with buying an oven.

  39. @mehreenkhan6976

    December 29, 2023 at 8:22 am

That chain mail is kinda nice😂
