For years there have been tensions in Ethiopia with various political and ethnic groups vying for power. At the beginning of November, this tensions escalated further into a full-blown civil war between the federal government and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front. In this video, we explain the civil war but also how it’s escalating & turning into an international dispute that could cause major issues for the region.

    I feel like you've talked about the governments and what not, but you haven't balanced out how this war is affecting the civilians which should be the main concern if not about the government. At this current time and date. The people of Tigray are under continuous and difficult duress.

    Eritreans must quickly realise that this war could be more costly than the 1998-2000 border war. They do not need to look anywhere else to learn that a determined people fighting a war of survival at its own turf could not be annihilated easily.
