The what format would you like to see Poppy in is a stupidly easy question to answer. Whatever, whenever, easily one of your best, most natural, entertaining guests. She fits so well that she almost seems part of the team. She's got great chemistry with you all and in slightly different ways which is rare for a guest and more unusually something you only get with established members of a close team as you guys are normally. Fits so well and has a great sense of humour as, well as feeling natural and ironically due to the video unpretentious which can be an issue with trained great chefs when on camera, maybe whenever talking to anyone they don't already know I don't know but it's something Kush and Ben both deliver so well and makes them easy to learn from and Poppy feels the same. More just more on any video.

The fresh king crab meat is a bit like lobster meat in the consistency. Got some fresh some times when I was fishing for cod and haddock in the Barents Sea. I dont know the canned taste/consistency.

I don't think the vodka is pretentious. It's a fancy looking vodka that tastes sweet and when you guys said it tastes like pink, for some reason I knew exactly what that flavor is. And the added but not needed gold flake in a fancy bottle for that price?
I agree, better as a gift rather than personal, but it's a nice gift at a reasonable price.
If it was any more, I'd say it was pretentious

12:45 I am watching this in 2023, and the most recent King Crab and Snow Crab season (for the West) was halted immediately. Apparently, fully 90% of the King and Snow crabs are missing. The food system is beginning to collapse. Crab of any deep, cold water sort really should be off-limits, for many years.

Love how grounded Poppy is when comparing the crab to what she usually uses, being cognizant of all the different factors that could have contributed to the texture, also how she is cognizant of how much goes into producing, well, produce.

I think those dates look lovely, but at that price I'd call them pretentious af. (I mean, really, do they hand-water the trees from golden ewers?)
And I agree with Poppy that the vodka seems kinda tacky. Also… 20%? That's like half the ABV of standard vodka. I suspect she's not far off when she says it's more like a cordial.

I would say the bitters aren't pretentious. The product itself is a creative, and quite tasty, take on bitters but the cost is solely from the extravagant price of the amount of CBD in the product. CBD, especially in pure tincture-like formulas is extraordinarily expensive on it's own.

Goldschläger and Goldwasser have been around for ages and ages. Goldschläger is cinnamon flavored. Goldwasser has been around since 1598 and is sort of medicinal flavored. Neither one is particular expensive or pretentious.
