Loved Jamie's shrug at the thought of opening lots of bottles of wine 😂 🍷 ❤

Coming back to this video two years later and I am still amazed by the value of the wonky bread box.

OK I want the wonky bread box but I probably can’t get it in the US. The only thing wrong I see is the crumpets sure weren’t very hot that butter didn’t even pretend to melt

A can of beer is .60… a can of wine is $6.36?! Goodness lol. Either way, I’m glad I don’t drink 😅

If I could get a bread subscription like that one delivered to me in Sydney, I'd be all over it. We love bread and we're home-bound, plus the idea of rescuing bread appeals.

There's not a lot of people I would make fun of
Italians and French who get snobby about food are people I would make fun of. Especially Napoli pizza makers, since they make a generally very modern product and yet insist it's the only correct way.
Real traditional pizzas are flatbreads folded like a taco and filled with seasonal meat, veg and cheeses. Like dawg, a magarita pizza barely predates pepperoni. Get real traditional and make us some soft cheese, honey and mushroom pizza.

It's interesting and a bit scary that when it comes to two of my favourite food topics, pasta and coffee, you are all normals. This makes me scared because if you are so far away from treating these topics well, are you also this of other topics, the only difference being that I won't be able to tell? I mean, I love all your content, both for the insights, inspiration and laughs. But damn, I just wished you stayed away from pasta and coffee. Alternatively, please watch some Hoffmann (coffee), Alex the French Guy (pasta) and Italia Squisita (pasta) and come back to the topics later.

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

Ahem, 'traditionally' Carbonara is guanciale. Pancetta is a substitute, and a dodgy one at that …. and you're not 'exploring' a region of Italy if you're putting cream in your Carbonara. /rant

Can I please have you ship me some bread to the states I’ll buy it I’ll even pay 10 pounds for it

  12. @DILFDylF

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

I wish Earth and Wheat had a United States equivalent! That kinda thing would be right up my alley.

  13. @kmaple9

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

honestly, with that wonky bread subscription, it might be nice just to get a group of people and get a single subscription and split each box that shows up. That one box is honestly like two families' worth of bread for two weeks for families that don't eat bread every single day, and the subscription price is pretty much half the price of that much decent bread

  14. @bethbovey7566

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

It is a shame that the breads appear to be packaged in plastic bags though.

  16. @beckycaughel7557

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

I’m amazed at the price of the bread subscription that is totally worth it. I wish there was something like that in the United States

  17. @yeta.

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

£6.99 for that variant of bread, not going to waste every week, just seems like a no brainer tbh

  18. @jf76

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

I think the bread subscription has a great story and is great value but you might need to have family of a few at home to finish that much bread weekly. The wine subscription is fun and convenient especially if you want to do little tasting evenings with friends, are going camping, to the beach. Seems like a reasonable price for a monthly treat. The pasta one could be a good present for a friend or family member who loves food and eating pasta but isn't into cooking. I personally love to cook pasta so I wouldn't go for that one for myself. Coffee – interesting… many coffee lovers insist on grinding their own beans.

  19. @flexi0693

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

guancale not pancetta though? traditionally i mean
    tell me if im wrong

  20. @bluereenie2

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

No no no no no! There is no cream in carbonera! Not ever. It's a dish (like all pasta) that you prepare, serve, and eat. If you add cream, it is no longer carbonera. It's something else that isn't carbonera. Make up a new name.

  21. @persereika9178

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

    xddddddd benis grind

  22. @lisakaye2110

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

It's sadly like wonky veggies? There's people that won't buy fruits, veg or bread if it's not perfect looking. It's crazy to me.

  23. @michi6486

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

The Cofee is outrageosly expensive!!! I know it´s not rivaling normal coffebrands, but you can get your everyday average brand not cheap not expensive, pack of coffee grinds for 10€ per Kilo in Germany. This cost 32,50 Pounds per kilo wich in Euros is 38€. It´s almost Quadruple the price. You guys have lost touch as to who the average consumer is….

  24. @danmoar94

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

The bread one probably speaks to me the most. I love bread and I absolutely LOVE the eco side of it. Only problem is that I don't live in England, though.

  25. @JoannaHammond

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

I love the bread idea but I can't see how I'm going to eat 2kg of bread before it's gone off.

  26. @JoannaHammond

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

That's not carbonara then, it had cream in it.

  27. @nickp8094

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

A subscription so i can get carbonara wrong! just what i need lol

  28. @mamaraah2578

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

The bread box is like £10 now plus they also do a broken biscuit box that’s has bad reviews online.

  29. @FleaChristenson

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

We raise pigs. Wasted bread always goes to our pigs. There’s more than one solution, but I do like this sub box idea.

  30. @qbasisko

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

Is this Farming Simulator music in the background or am I going crazy?

  31. @jishan6992

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

The puns are one of the best things on this channel

  32. @Wolfsschamane

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

The bread subscription is hard to beat valuewise and makes you feel better about your consumptions habits too. The coffee subscription sounds fun to have for a few weeks just to try out new stuff.

I am really not fond of the wine in cans though. It's on one had expensive, on the other I dislike aluminium cans, wine works well in glass bottles and the alu cans are just the bad type of waste. Bottles come in different sizes too and we have used them for centuries for wine? It's coming by mail, the extra weight isn't carried by the consumer so why does it need to be in a can? It can't be the price, it's already so high the bottles would not make that much of a dent.

  33. @od1401

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

That earth and wheat box is incredible

  34. @nerddegreeburns

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

This is one of my favorite series y'all do. I'd love to see more especially more restaurant boxes.

  35. @ukgroucho

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

Signed up for wonky bread every 2 weeks (just my wife and I here)… will see how it goes. I love the environmental ethos and I quite like the opportunity for 'random bread' so long as they don't ship a bunch of sweet stuff.

  36. @FatmanAiM

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

Traditionally PANCETTA!!! Oh Ebbrs, why do you always choose violence

  37. @williammcneil2045

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

baz i felt attacked there 😛

  38. @LesaBear612

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

The problem I have with subscriptions and meal kits is all the packaging. Plastic overload.

  39. @wecbarnard

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

I would like the bread, wine, and coffee subscriptions. But I live in Colorado USA. So… meh.

  40. @xForbin99

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

I want a wonky bread box in the USA!

  41. @GrumpyTy34er

    December 27, 2023 at 11:08 am

Why couldn't that bread go to homeless shelters and underprivileged areas?
