I FINALLY think I know what they mean when they say “moreish”. Of course I thought it was “moorish” and have been so confused because the definition… “adjective [usu ADJ n] Something that is Moorish belongs to or is characteristic of the Muslim civilization in North Africa and Spain between the 8th and the 15th centuries A.D. “ had NOTHING to do with how they were using the word!
BUT!
I finally Googled “what do people in the UK mean when they say “moorish” and I finally learned it’s “moreish” and it means like, leaving you wanting more. So… is this right?!?
