I think they are going to use a life-sized cardboard cut-out of a Tony B Liar lookie-likee. I think it’ll do better than Kier Starmer so far!

Keir Starmer is a centrist without charisma and Long Bailey is a radical of the Corbyn wing of the party. Nandy is probably the only one that can win against Johnson I believe.

Has anybody talked about maybe they put too much emphasis on women in the labor party?

I'm backing RLB and Burgon. Drifting back to the right would be a disaster.

i only voted Labour as jeremy corbyn was there leader, for me with out him theirs no point voting at all, any party might as well be the same, for little good they do.

  11. @anon4658

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

Long bailey looks like a trainwreck waiting to happen, we'll never live down Kier Starmer winning in a predominantly female line up. lisa nandy for labour leader

  12. @alanchadbone7834

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

I didn’t renew my Labour Membership after Corbyn won his second leadership battle and couldn’t stand Corbyn and his policies but for some strange reason, I will be backing Rebecca Long-Bailey

I would become a patron if the money was going to be spent on better mics and sound editing. I like the content, but it's just hard on the ear with the bad sound issues.

  14. @gr0mit948

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

Whomever gets the position is going to push the party even more far left and loose even more voters next time with this incesant belittling of the public and constant name calling. It's a shame because we need two strong parties that counter one another and bring each other forward to take responsability while complimenting each other, but no instead Labour will just sling mud when the time and effort would eb better spent fixing an obviously broken party. For when the Conservatives only need to let Labour continue making mistakes to win, you know your party is out of touch and irrelevant.

When will labour realise that Twitter and Facebook are not the places to source the public opinion when it's full of hyperbolli, trolls like me and keyboard warriors.

  15. @captpicard6894

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

I am hoping, praying, keeping all fingers and toes crossed as a Staunch Tory voter that Labour elect Rebecca Long-Bailey as Leader, and Richard Burgon as her deputy. With those 2 running things the Tories will win in 2024, and probably 2029 as well😂😂😂😂

  16. @lizzysprigg6127

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

Who cares labour voters all our adult lifes myself family friends from south Wales this party are momentum activists who have hijack the name labour they do not represented us anymore or womans rights shame any of them!!

  17. @SamButler22

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

I thought it's about time they had a female leader, but Wigan and Salford definitely swung it for me. Also I'd go for Butler, because Butler.

  18. @Vienna3080

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

If Labour goes back to being a Centrist pro war party I bassicaly won’t be voting anymore

  19. @jacobcarter6332

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

wait wait wait wait. You have to PAY to vote? there isn't like ya know an open version of this? what the fuck how is that legal?

  20. @tomsmith8006

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

RLB cannot win. If she wins the Labour Party is dead…

  21. @grandmiserthe3rd434

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

    good bye Labour

  22. @petergordon4525

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

Rebecca Wrong Dailey lied about her previous role working for a law firm, she stated she worked for the NHS to protect it, when she actually worked for a firm who sold millions of PFI contracts to a Luxembourg company, disgraceful!

  23. @miket7763

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

Who will be the next one to sell out to the muslims? Why is that an option? Idiots…

  24. @tomtoms862

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

What a miserable lineup I wouldn’t give any of them the job let alone leader of the opposition

  25. @GhostEmblem

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

Can you tell us more about the candidates instead of just who backing them, right now all I can go on is that Jeremy is backing Rebecca, hes the only reason I joined the party if they go back to being centrist I'm ending my membership.

  26. @gobshite99

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

Please let it be Becca Wrong Daily.

  27. @GhostEmblem

    What happened to Corbyn?

  28. @MrMoonknows

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

100% it will be sir Kier.

  29. @brucehaddow2666

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

    Stammer won for the Tories.

  30. @guyguy7634

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

I feel that the party would be best with Rebecca long baily. Labors socialist ideas were very popular, it’s just that corbyns stance on brexit was flimsy and cost them the election

  31. @r3negade47

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

Voted for Starmer. The only one of the 3 who can actually take Labour to a position of winning. No point in having a ‘socialist agenda’ if the Tories crush you in a landslide every election. Also voted for Rosina Allin-Khan. She’s an A&E doctor and seems impressive as an MP.

  32. @philip5501

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

Shitty centrist tory lite here we come!

  33. @jonathanrimmer9977

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

Appreciate the format, but there are some glaring factual inaccuracies in this: Nandy didn't quickly resign upon Corbyn becoming leader – she stayed in post until the 2016 'coup'; Yvette Cooper never publicly signalled her intention to run; Rosena is pronounced as it's written, not 'Rosianna'.

  34. @Fishingadventureuk

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

    I voted keir starmer.

  35. @agentsmith3142

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

I think Starmer and Rayner are strong candidates!

  36. @StraightcheD

    December 24, 2023 at 10:39 am

None of them immediately comes across like a national leader tbh.
