I do not understand why Ukraine is delaying the process of reconciliation with Russia, refusing to negotiate and mobilizing already elderly people unfit for military service? After all, there are more victims every day! Apparently, Zelensky and his team keep hoping that NATO countries will go to war with Russia themselves. But we have already damaged our economy because of Ukraine, and now we have to die for it? Why?

If Boris "el fatty" Johnson is the best Britain has, they are in a sorry state. The final blow to the once "mighty empire", now a pathetic little island, kneeling down to US a la Monica Lewinsky. Enjoy!

  26. @jackdubz4247

    December 24, 2023 at 6:35 am

He won't leave because the Tories are finished if he does. He needs to stay on long enough for the Tories to ram through their voter suppression and constituency boundary gerrymandering schemes. Once the Tories know that they can never be removed by democratic means then Johnson will step down.

In our darkest hour with the rise of Hitler, Churchill stepped up to the plate . Today as a new dictator threatens England, we have our Boris, ready and willing to steer. us to victory and beyond. Cometh the hour, cometh the man, thank God we have Boris Johnson.

  32. @dannydevito2244

As an American, the idea that the PM was nearly ousted from office for having a Christmas party during lockdown while trump’s career was virtually unaffected by the storming of the capital is wild.

  33. @ProAmateurGamers

    December 24, 2023 at 6:35 am

Sigh, I'm just so annoyed that Johnson is constantly pushing at the boundaries of what is acceptable.
Politicians should not break the rules they create. Doing so reduces public confidence and damages the democratic system. At a time we need confidence in the democratic system. With autocratic/authoritarian nations like Russia and china throwing their weight around.
Sigh, time to hop on the "go out and vote" wagon I guess.
