The British government is simply sending a bold faced lie as their reason to wiggle their ass out of an agreement that they signed not even that long ago, and while I am not surprised by it – the UK has a long and consistent history of doing what it wants even when it directly contradicts things it has formally agreed with – I am surprised that nobody addresses the big elephant in the room.
The terms of the Good Friday Agreement were already known when this new agreement was discuted. In fact, the Good Friday agreement had been already effective for two decades at that point. There wasn't really any novelty in that and it was a fixture of the UK's functioning by that point. Therefore, I would be very interested in hearing the UK's government explaining exactly what part of the Good Friday Agreement they had forgotten about when they were making that new deal with the EU that they only found out about a year later.

I think the tories want to offload Northern Ireland back to the Irish mainland. The tories are all about making and saving money, even if they have no clear idea on how to do this long or short term… a sad reality is that humans are very expensive, and the tories clearly know this. It’s hard to create permanent lifetime jobs in this world and economy full of automation, low pay and zero hours contracts. England’s economy is basically London and the south east. So offload and get rid of what doesn’t matter any more… people outside London and the south east… either by making it expensive to exist and live in shelter, or offloading them to other nation states (Northern Ireland to Ireland), or making being part of Britain be completely unpleasant that independence is the only viable alternative to them. You talk about the Unioinists' disquiet about the Protocol.
You seem not to have any idea of the disquiet among nationalist people about what Johnson's actions are causing. Why?
Surely you are aware that Northern Ireland was set to and designed to keep nationalists as an underclass. "A protestant state for a protestant people" was the tag used by Craig, the first NI premier. More recently another Unionist stated words to the effect that NI had been a very cold house for Catholics. Some honest at last, but founded on the blood of thousands.
OK. Let's have some balance in your reporting.
A final point, NI is not Ulster, and Ulster is not NI. The ancient province of Ulster consisted pof 9 counties, three of which remain in the ROI. The reason they were not included in NI was because that would have meant a Catholic (= nationalist) majority.
Get some balance into your channel.

After watching the behaviour of the Ukrainian refugees and analysing Ukraine's behaviour, we begin to understand how they managed to bring the bear into a frenzy. If we don't repeat their mistakes, the West is in no danger. And if we listen to Ukraine, at least with the same issue of sending grain to Africa, and we will have to shed blood, our own blood, not Ukrainian blood, and get Russian bombs on our heads. This is exactly what Ukraine is trying to achieve.

Article 16
Safeguards
1. If the application of this Protocol leads to serious economic, societal or environmental
difficulties that are liable to persist, or to diversion of trade, the Union or the United Kingdom
may unilaterally take appropriate safeguard measures. Such safeguard measures shall be
restricted with regard to their scope and duration to what is strictly necessary in order to
remedy the situation. Priority shall be given to such measures as will least disturb the
functioning of this Protocol.
2. If a safeguard measure taken by the Union or the United Kingdom, as the case may be, in
accordance with paragraph 1 creates an imbalance between the rights and obligations under
this Protocol, the Union or the United Kingdom, as the case may be, may take such
proportionate rebalancing measures as are strictly necessary to remedy the imbalance. Priority
shall be given to such measures as will least disturb the functioning of this Protocol.
3. Safeguard and rebalancing measures taken in accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2 shall be
governed by the procedures set out in Annex 7 to this Protocol.

You failed to mention the real issues underpinning the failure of the NIP.
1. The NIP itself incited civil unrest in both catholic/nationalist and protestant/loyalist communities.
2. The EU introduced over 800 new laws undemocratically on NI, making trade easier North/South, but continue to make outrageous demands for East/West trade.
3. This is beginning to destabilise the GFA and peace process put in place in 1998, is having a significant effect on society in NI.
4. The ultimate result maybe a return to violence which is something the UK understands, which is why they are so tirelessly working to negotiate something that works for NI.
5. The current state of things is beneficial to the EU, they have a chance of annexing NI and not having this awkward boarder in their Single Market.
6. This is why the EU ignored the communities of NI, who reached out to the DUP, who reach out to the UK government.
7. When they were forced to discuss this with the UK, they said they are not willing to renegotiate.
8. Currently inciting civil unrest, and supporting pro nationalist movements in NI is the agenda of the EU to progress discourse till NI leaves the UK.
If you cannot see what is wrong with this, just think of how since 2014 Russia has been playing with the population of eastern Ukraine and influencing them and annex parts of Ukraine. This is the exact same thing the undemocratic and authoritarian EU are doing in NI.

A German court already "unilaterally decided" that it had supremacy over the European Court… and what's good for the goose is good for the gander. There is no "union" in the EU, we've seen that with the vaccine scandal, the poor response to the continued trade in Russian oil and and the appointment of Von der Leyen herself, these are clear fact lol. Why don't you do a program on these issues?
