Their reactions to their Pass It On performances are sensational 😂😂 they get to see it from our perspective so have the chance to understand our frustration but also reflect back on what they believed was appropriate action 😂 im sure the normals especially take a lot from reacting to previous performances to adapt what they do in future videos because they often leave a lot to be desired 😂

Seeing the chefs have the opportunity to oversee all of the activity from the viewer’s perspective and provide insight and provide guidance in hindsight is refreshing, it allows them to see the mistakes and train of thought ending commonly with a comedic yet underwhelming final dish living up to the catchphrase of too many chefs spoil the broth. Seeing them observe from our perspective helps them improve the team as they’re able to tailor their teachings and knowledge to each normal to help them progress improves the team as a whole and makes the videos even better, this concept is such a good idea and hope there is more of these to come, perhaps with the relays with great success and incredible disappointment to reflect on the rollercoaster of results

Since I only discovered Sorted a short while ago I am been going through the archive. Watching most of the pass it ons. This was one of my favorite especially with the guys reactions to being boxed in. And because of that this reaction fits. But glad it didn't become a common thing. Ps while I love antics & exclamation I also like to see the guys win.

I do often like cultural dish mashups – many might protest that something is not the 'real' recipe of any dish, but if it is delicious, so what! So many dishes are combinations that evolved through migration and colonization to become national favourites. Key is, make it delicious and don't panic. Korean toast sandwiches and fried chicken and 'army stew' would be examples. A common breakfast in Hong Kong might be macaroni in broth with ham – weird right, but simple and comforting. People hate the term fusion, but really, can you think of any food that isn't, naturally, unless you lived in an undiscovered tribe deep in the jungle? Every culture eventually becomes influenced by access to spices, seasonings, techniques, ingredients. Like coffee or tea? Where do you think that comes from? Do you like salt? That was once considered a currency once discovered outside of its sources because it magnifies flavours and what was once bland became super charged. We take so much for granted. Thank you Sorted for trying things and making people laugh too. Challenge – instead of pretentious ingredients, take the very cheapest, most basic and common ingredients (only) to make something fantastic (both delicious and nutritious) in a recipe relay. And I mean super crazy cheap. The world of cooking has a lot to offer in this regard out of necessity, but new ideas would be great.

That convo between Barry and Ben about knife cutting is totally me and my mom.. she even tells me my method of cutting things is more risky (btw I don't take my eyes off at all) but I'm still all "NOPE". Wish I had that confidence lol. I take so long to cut things because of my paranoia ^^;

Being more than a year later, I doubt anyone will read this, but I just had a startling realization. Being a permanent DM, I empathize with Ben. I don't think he truly meant to railroad them in a single direction selfishly. He just thought that risotto would be a simple way of focusing on teamwork. Like Ben, I too have accidentally railroaded my friends when I thought focusing on a single path would be much more enjoyable for everyone involved.
In reality, both Ebbers and I need to realize that the party enjoys the crazy, innovative exploration of the space more than successful storytelling. If they want to fuck off to the random tower in the distance while already in the middle of a quest, who am I to stop them? If the party wants to completely ignore parts of a dish and leave hobs on, maybe that's just more entertaining.
