The bottle of wine is a marketing trick. No matter how much the company talks about Co2, glass is 100% recyclable. If the problem is delivery, and you want to be environmentally friendly, just go to a local store. No one needs wine by mail 😂

Well, you are not supposed to eat the shell of the watermelon seeds. You should only eat the white inside part. The shell won't kill you I guess, but just not how we eat it in China (which the packaging suggested it's from China)

We don't eat the "shell" of the watermelon seed. We just eat what's inside. Just like peanuts or pistachios. It's a common snack in the Philippines 😀

That wine flask is just a joke… Plastic bottle will never be more enviromentaly friendly than a galss one. You can re-use glass bottles much more than plastic ones.

The calculations on the space saved by the flat bottles is wrong. 40% more packing efficiency works out to around 72% of original capacity needed.

Love the watermelon seeds but it’s eaten like a sunflower seed. Shells are edible but not too many people eat them whole.

The watermelon seeds are a quite common snack in China, and people there become skilled over time to bite on them one by one with just the right amount of pressure and angle so that the hard exterior (skin/shell) halves from the thin side and then eat the white soft interior and spit out the shell.

Also, you guys ate the watermelon seeds wrong. My mum loves them (not this brand, definitely not flavoured with soy and licorice), but they're meant to be deshelled by your teeth, you don't eat the whole thing, just the inside.

Just been on to Amazon and the crunchy mushrooms are available to buy:

So I think for what they are which is a vegan alternative to crisps they are really expensive.

Beer drinkers prefer glass bottles, not aluminium and don't even think of plastic bottles. Cask wine would be preferable to these plastic bottles but they have hit on something. Square glass wine bottles would have a lot of benefits.

I don’t understand replacing a glass bottle of wine with a plastic on? Surely the glass bottle can be recycled? Or did they say that it creates more carbon to produce and or recycle it? On the other hand. What happens to the plastic bottle. Can it be recycled? Or is the whole idea that it can be posted through your letterbox?

The plastic wine bottle idea demonstrates the stupidity of most environmentalists. Id be much more worried about the plastic going into a landfill then any carbon emissions. For one carbon is key to all "carbon" based life and data shows that it has zero impact when it comes to temperature. Two, glass is infinitely recyclable and natural.
