Watching this roughly 24 hours before we see Ben's new kitchen and get all the Foodie trends, Made Personal and Big Night In vibes! Will he make a mushroom risotto again?

Also I fully agree with Ben – steak vs mushrooms. I would pick mushrooms any day!

I know this is an old one…I've been binging Sorted for a month now and am only getting to the older ones now. The question 'Steak or Mushroom' actually made me pause the video and ponder. I LOVE ME MY STEAK. I'm a beef lover in a big way. But? I'm also a lover of cooking good food. I use so many mushrooms in so many things. My cooking would suffer without them. I would grudgingly give up steak. Mushroom is simply too valuable.

Ben chooses mushrooms over steak because he's a "fun-gi/guy."

    I LOVE BEN!!!!!

Ahahahahahaha! My signature dish involves cream of mushroom soup. It’s why my son became a chef. He won’t eat my cooking.

Love that kitchen. It’s like Harry Potter’s kitchen in the cupboard under the stairs.

Just watched this (7 years after it came out) and made a mushroom risotto last night, not a patch on Ben's luxurious version!!

I'm making mushroom risotto for a special dinner tonight – it's not even Ben's recipe, but I put you guys on for moral support! I love the quick breaks with personalized details from young Ebbers, and it'd be great to see an updated bookshelf tour or some overall recommendations. Maybe a Christmas gift guide?

Since I'm severely allergic to mushrooms, I'm with Jaimie. I would love to see more recipes that are fit in with my very restricted diet (No: gluten, dairy, beets, rhubarb, green pepper, mushrooms, corn, potato peanut and spinach). Corn is the most difficult because corn is in absolutely everything!

I would give up steak any day… mainly because it hurts my stomach. I can't have too much red meat. But I love mushrooms <3

OKAY BEN, I'M FROM THE YEAR 2020. just wanna take a note on what Jamie said: "you should've been a Stephen Hawking type Scientist and save the world from some deadly disease." YOU HAVE YOUR CHANCE BEN. 2020 IS NOT FINE. YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THAT CHANCE OF BEING STEPHEN HAWKING TYPE SCIENTIST AND FIND A CURE FOR COVID-19.

but having you give me recipe for mushroom Risotto is good too. i'm not complaining.

Does not look relaxed at all when playing guitar

Hmmm…I think my signature dish would either be sausage stuffed manicotti in sun dried tomato sauce or creamy chicken enchiladas. They seem to be the things that I get asked to do again and again. 😊

  30. @ahschornjesus

    December 20, 2023 at 6:31 am

The All-American Burger | #BeatMyBurger ep.4

Published

on

All conjured up for Chester See… A soft brioche bun, glazed with maple and finished with bacon crumb holds the all American burger. 100% home-ground beef seasoned with salt and pepper is shaped into a 1/2 pounder, and topped with a duo of molten and oozing Monterey Jack and blue cheese as well as three rashers of crispy streaky bacon. All this is cleverly balanced out by fresh raw red onion rings, oak leaf lettuce and lashings of homemade tangy and sour chive ranch dressing. To hold it together it’s spiked with a skewer, but not any old skewer, one laden with 3 crispy, golden southern fried peppers.
