IDF say hostages were holding white cloth on stick when mistakenly shot by Israeli forces – BBC News
The IDF – Israel’s military – says three Israeli hostages who were mistakenly killed in Gaza by the Israeli military had been holding up a white cloth on a stick.
An initial report by Israel’s military into the deaths found that the hostages were fired upon against Israel’s rules of engagement.
Protests over the killings took place in Tel Aviv, with calls for the Israeli government to do more to bring home hostages from Gaza.

Israel has the right to defend itself from… shirtless hostages?
Such professionalism from the IDF, wow. One less reason for Hamas to surrender.

A tragic error? They shot people waving a white flag. They knowingly killed 3 people who were unarmed.

The Israeli military already killed over 55 hostages during the bombing of Gaza… according to the Israeli police investigation, the military and air force killed 100s of Israeli civilians on the 7 October and blamed all on Hamas. .
The last 3 hostages managed to make out from some destroyed buildings and the Israeli military killed them…There are about 170 prisoners left in Gaza according to different reports..
One Israeli soldier prisoner was killed during an Israeli special forces failed rescue attempt which left more Israeli soldiers dead and injured.

where is Netanyahu's son? Didn't he live a good life and didn't go to war? This is called a sacrifice for Netanyahu and will not stop until his goal is achieved, you are just flies for him.

The IDF was literally supposed to be there to rescue these very people. Shouldn't it be one of their top priorities to identify and protect the hostages? They clearly have pictures of the hostages with which all of the troops should have been made familiar so that they could recognize them if they encountered them. They should have been expecting to encounter them in combat situations. And one of them even had red hair, unless it had been dyed or shaved recently. Did the IDF soldiers just fire as soon as they saw people moving in their direction without any serious attempt to identify the people at whom they were shooting?

its pretty simple, they thought they were shooting unarmed Palestinians but turned out they were unnarmed israelis.

Obvious question is how many innocent Palestinians have they killed in a similar fashion. Unarmed men with no shirts on waving a white flag and the Israeli soldiers still shot them…..

Israel should be labelled as terrorists as well ! I mean what is happening in this messed up world? They think we are stupid! Guess what most of us will never think of Israel as nothing more than a terrorist state!

Turns out Ken Livingstone and Jeremy Corbyn were absolutely spot on about how terrible these Zionists were after all. Indeed, they underestimated the depravity of these fascists.
