Third parties showing a different pathway demonstrating new ideas distinct from the outmoded, elitist, cruel, two cheeks of the same arse political system = fringe?

Where I used to live I was able to vote for the Georgist Party. They had some pretty radical views but I don't think they garnered 5k votes, hence their lack of inclusion here.

Why would Yorkshire need a devolved legislature? Yorkshire is a ceremonial English county. Not a constituent country like Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. They do not need a devolved legislature.

    December 19, 2023 at 2:40 am

my biggest question for those waffling monster raving loonies is where exactly this cardboard box is gonna go. will it run down the irish border or through the north channel? should we have a second box that surrounds all of ireland so that it can be both unified and divided?

  22. @mrror8933

    December 19, 2023 at 2:40 am

Labcon or conlab are the major parties because the mainstream media almost exclusively talks about them all the time. Size and influence of party depends on media coverage. If your party's political agenda doesn't suit the views of the mainstream media, then you are doomed to stay a small fringe party.

  27. @dehcho99

We used to have a party similar to the Monster Raving Loony Party in Canada called The Rhinoceros Party. It seems to have faded in the last couple of decades.
