We are going into a recession so you attack the most vulnerable. The state of the economy is entirely YOUR fault. Instead of investing the political class chose to squander countless billions on foreign wars. Compare the UK economy to the Norwegian. Norway is doing far better. Why is that?
You're all utterly useless. But, who pays the price? Multi-millionaires like you? Of course not. It's the people. It's so over time for you all to be replaced with people who put the interests of the people first.

Cut bullshit benefits and cut taxes for the workers. If you work hard and earn good you should be able to better your own life not support benefit scroungers.

Carbon capture. The German's are pushing ahead with Cc, but given the mammoth scale the uk government should give it a kick start. If it was economical we could then start burning coal.

Lawson's methods, ended up putting the country in a huge recession !!!!!

  25. @alphabetaxenonzzzcat

    December 18, 2023 at 7:04 am

Oh – guess what? Shutting down the economy for two years, printing money and running up public debt to record levels wasn't good for the economy. In other news – birds can fly, cows moo and Rees-Mogg tries to pretend that he is not partly to blame – even though he was in the government that implemented those policies.

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
