I loved the joke Jamie 🤣🤣🤣

I ordered a tempura frying pot before I even finished the video! Thanks for the inspo lads!

I dunno if these gagdets go back, someone from the team takes it, get resold or if you keep them but I definitly want to see the 4th one in action. Maybe every normal and Kush/Ben make a dish with it/use it for something. Just to see how it actually works and not just the slice part of it.

The Fryer looks like a good gadget, but I think the pot might be a little too small

The guys always get to eat some delicious looking food on the show, but I've never been more jealous of them than seeing them eat eel. If it wasn't so outrageously expensive, I'd pretty much eat it exclusively for every meal.

  5. @TheNiters

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

    I am from Norway, and even I got the A1 / A5 joke 😂

  6. @TheArmase

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

That last one needs to be part of a gadget pass it on.

  7. @tiff2106

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Ok, NOW looking für the sheet slicer! ❤ that would so up my gratin dauphinois game! 😍
I usually only make it for Christmas because the recipe calls for super thinly sliced potatoes, dried between kitchen paper Ziel shreds and individually (!) stacked with super thin layers of cheese and drowned in cream. So much work but oh so delicious!

  8. @danielpereira2080

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

I want to see the chefs do a dish using the last cutter. The plating would be astonishing!

  9. @Spiffelight

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

I'm probably gonna buy that tempura frying pot myself, what a sweet thing!

  10. @missdire

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

It's okay, Jamie. I laughed at your A-5/A-1 joke. 😂

  11. @charless4680

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

    MORE IKE THIS PLEASE

  12. @KhronicD

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Wait till Jaime finds out that Bonito is consider the hardest food on the world. That piddly little plastic grinder wouldn't even touch it.

  13. @lynnayamoon

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

I always thought kanpai was only for drinking, and that itadakimasu was the common phrase to say before eating food. Can anyone make that clear for me? Thank you in advance! Love you all!

  14. @philoctetes_wordsworth

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

20:00 oh, my. That jiggy-jiggy slicer is amazeballs. Wow.

  15. @TiredMomma

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

That seed grinder is, in your terms of vocab, utterly rubbish! 👎
It's a waste of plastic when there's glass or wooden versions that would be more worthy for that price.
Here in the US, I wouldn't pay more that $1 for that piece of trash.
That little frying pan though is genuis. Certainly appreciate the included thermometer.

  16. @dolan-duk

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

First time I'm seeing the cutting machine, that's so cool!

For the sesame seed grinder, it seems like it is either defective or there is some kind of way to adjust it. I've used similar ones at restaurants and they made a nice ground powder and certainly no whole seeds.

Also, for the unagi sauce ladle, the sauce is usually made in a large container which is easier to ladle from rather than trying to fill a squeezy bottle with hot/warm sauce from. You don't want to deal with burns from spilling a hot sticky sauce.

  17. @heruhcanedean

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Jamie that down the A1 instead of A5 joke… I laughed a little, was clever. I live in the northwest of the US and still got the reference.

  18. @hedyhopes3591

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Watching from the floor rn, thanks Jamie.

  19. @philoctetes_wordsworth

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

13:18 if they do not come bigger, perhaps that is a hole in the market, Sorted Food could fill? Hmm?🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

  20. @Nbenshimon

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Oh I loved the jiggy jiggy slicer!

  21. @user-lz8wg4rs1d

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

I was hoping to see them do get the potato lattice to see how it would turn out.

  22. @bjdefilippo447

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Such fun! I love getting to see that eel sauce distributor. I love unagi, and making sushi at home, but I'm afraid I've not advanced to cooking the eel myself. That pan, though, I could definitely see using.

  23. @vygalnix7769

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

No the sauce pourer is for donburi-mono. Things that go over rice. It’s spreads the sauce over the rice before you put the protein or veggies over the rice.

  24. @drinkbooks

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

    That eel looks soooo good!

  25. @TheMany42

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Anyone else now searching for”stained glass fried chicken”?

  26. @MaikNL

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

I might have to get that pan for that price.

  27. @MegaFortinbras

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

I want that tempura fryer, but. As Mike says, in a larger size for fried chicken.

  28. @Nixx0912

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Smoked eels are delicious too. I never had one in jelly and honestly it doesn't sound appealing although we do have jellied fish in Poland specially for Christmas just not eels.

  29. @TheCastleUser

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Why does he keep saying teriKaki instead of teriYaki. Is it a British thing or just a Ebbers thing.

  30. @jayceperlmutter4317

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

The jiggy-jiggy cutter is crazy fun, but not so much useful in a home kitchen. I really liked the tempura fryer!

  31. @Iosis4818

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Kinda feel like Mike ´s gonna take some stuff home after 😃
Those stuff are right up his alley

  32. @Aa-nd7hv

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

The main thing about the gadget called "Unagi tarekake" is to pour the sauce evenly over the rice underneath, not the eel.
(Sorry if the translation is wrong 🥲)

  33. @philoctetes_wordsworth

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

    3:02 I got it.😂😂😂

  34. @oxymoronman

    December 17, 2023 at 8:11 pm

They're very polite in their criticisms about these items considering you could just use a spoon for some of these instead and save yourself the trouble.
