Barry seems to like the really pretentious things, but when something of genuine quality comes up (like the balsamic vinegar) he thinks that THAT is pretentious.
The guy is a materialistic nightmare.

I’ve made butter before. All you need is heavy whipping cream and a mixer and let it go until it whips and then separates completely.

Balsamic is akin to bourbon and other true long aged spirits. Thats so much cheaper than I’d have thought. Do a video comparing the different ages from a maker

    gin pickle martini?

I wonder why you would add buttermilk as it's the acctual thing you get at the end of making butter. It doesn't make any sens.

7,80 a bag for something that's usually thrown out as trash is pricegouging to the extreme. You're literally being sold their compost. That's what's usually done with the cherries. they get composted or burnt.
I don't doubt that the tea tastes nice. It's probably great fruit tea. But it's a waste product

Balsamic Vinegar is not pretentious. The stuff you buy on a grocery store shelf is not actual balsamic – its veg ethanol and Carmel flavouring and other fakery and is just sickly sweet grossness – where as a basic real balsamic is complex and slightly sweet with notes of the wine that made it they are night and day. If Barry can't tell the difference I seriously doubt his palate. Same with cheap vinegars are made from veg ethanol where as the real stuff is more expensive because its been either distilled or fermented in barrel and thus FAR better for you and so much richer tasting esp for salads or my fave balsamic and olive oil with a good crusty loaf of bread

Gods, why do you have so many problems with subtitles?? Is there an actual person doing it, or just some machine no-one checks?!

You Pig Jamie dont throw food on the floor. Who do you think you are?? Just put it on the side, who will pick that bread up your mother or your pig wife??? Or that pig pokemon named kid of urs??? Swinub

0:52 Butter = beaten cream. Why are there so many ingredients? Herb butter = beaten cream + minced herbs. No kit needed. Yikes.

  13. @scottchaney4573

    January 4, 2024 at 11:42 pm

I’d just use the glass jar to shake butter

  14. @emeyers7

    January 4, 2024 at 11:42 pm

I know it's a four year old video, but I would love it, if the guys could recreate a pretentious ingredient using cheats that the chefs could think of.

  15. @jamescarson6823

    January 4, 2024 at 11:42 pm

The butter kit is just stupid. I make flavored butter for people as gifts all the time. Whip heavy cream until it separates. It's that simple.

Pieces of shits like Madonna and Oprah probably eat food like this.

  19. @andyt2k

    January 4, 2024 at 11:42 pm

The butter one is hilarious "Expensive butter kit" requires a dozen other ingredients and bits of equipment and fails
    Ben "Over whip cream"…………..makes butter

  20. @JacobBielecki

    January 4, 2024 at 11:42 pm

In the states I bought a 20year bottle barred aged the same way for $45 but it was also twice the size. Was amazing. The only thing I've had close is a 10-year barrel aged but reduced to a syrup

  21. @JoannaHammond

    January 4, 2024 at 11:42 pm

If a waste product costs more than the product then it's not worth it. Rerfering to the coffee fruits.

I like all of the characters in this equally. But I like Jamie the best. Can we trial some Jamie only episodes? There’s a possibility that more Jamie means more better…

  24. @OwlCMedicine

    January 4, 2024 at 11:42 pm

Love the show. That balsamic wasn’t pretentious it was artisinal.

  25. @chrishalle1982

    January 4, 2024 at 11:42 pm

Wow make butter your own is so simple just beat cream until it seperates then wash the buttermilk out of the butter and your done. And its cheap. You dont have to buy this kit. Wow Coffee cherrys from Deutschland. Why do you say gurkens to pickels? A Gurke is german for cucumber.

When I was planning my wedding with my ex, I was going to get those flowering teas for all the guest tables. I'm glad I didn't marry him though, cuz I found my husband now and he's SO much better!! lol

    January 4, 2024 at 11:42 pm

Another ingredient to blind taste test, or pretentious is not – golden berries. Physalis. Oh my.

  28. @tunneloflight

    January 4, 2024 at 11:42 pm

I agree with Jamie. Once you tasted truly good aged balsamic there is no going back.
