Britain seems to be in a permanent economic crisis. Last year, an analysis found that the average Slovenian household would be wealthier than its British counterpart by 2024. How does Britain compare to other countries and can it recover?

It seems pretty much a certainty that Andy Burnham will be the next British prime minister. Exactly when it happens depends on a few factors. We outline some of the reasons an early general election is likely.

Heritage Party We are now in our fourth year since we launched as a party in autumn 2020. This is a vital year for us as there is likely to be a General Election at the end of 2024. We will also be contending local elections in England and the London Assembly election next May.
In the UK, the old political parties continue to work in lockstep together to allow perverse materials into classrooms for Relationships and Sexuality Education, permit open borders with unprecedented levels of both illegal and legal immigration, and make war on motorists with increasingly onerous restrictions on travel for ordinary citizens such as LTNs, 15-minute cities and the ULEZ.
The Heritage Party is the only UK-wide party that will end the climate emergency hoax and lift all restrictions on carbon dioxide emissions. We will ensure that people can continue to buy and use petrol and diesel cars and keep gas boilers in their homes. We will repeal regulations that require homes to have SMART meters and meet impossible new building emissions criteria, designed to force the abandonment of older buildings that are a precious part of our heritage.
We will introduce a Child Protection Bill to protect children from propaganda that attempts to confuse them with gender ideology or groom them into early sexual activity. We will also control our borders by pushing illegal boats back across the Channel and introducing strict caps on student and work visas while ensuring we train enough young British people to do the jobs that need to be done in this country. I Edwars say that if anyone votes Lib/Lab/ Con or any other left wing parties they need their head examined. Heritage could, with your help make Britain great again. I Edward say that if anyonr votes labour or tory or any other left wing part they need their head exam ined

why is the uks energy system broken? Surely it would be more unfair for Poland relying on Russian gas imports?
@sotirisgeorgiou
December 18, 2023 at 8:31 pm
Yes brother but the fact that uk is not a very equal society or that housing is super expensive doesn't contradict the point that most Poland households are essentially wealthier than most uk ones. You don't disprove the point, you just explain its causes.

I remember listening to an economist talking about how Argentina went from one of the world's strongest economies to having naval vessels repossessed by other nations and it boiled down to 100 years of taking the wrong economic option everytime, when was the last time the UK took the right option?
@jonathanmills116
December 18, 2023 at 8:31 pm
I suspect that it due to vast economic and population differences between USA, EU and UK. Then there are the differences regarding natural resources available domestically. Brexit is in comparison a minor element.

its a shame really even solders that are homeless are left to die in the uk the torie government have had 15 years to kick start the economy and what have they done nowt but look after there own what we need is a labour government to nationalise every thing in this country and take away the riches from the private sector for to long they have been robbing the poor with there illigel scams for promising a better future while taking away the rights of the working class to have a decent life.

When you have incompetent, racist, colonial mentality, arrogance and no backbone leadership that prefer to be dogs to its master US, what kind of achievement can they get ? They prefer to do their master dirty work than taking care of their citizens and economy. Even its master economy are going into drainage and collapsing so it’s will bring its dogs together with them. 😂

Alabama caught a weird stray in this video. I'm a Brit who lives not all that far from Alabama these days and yeah, pretty sure it's wealthier and it's not really a surprise to anyone who has been to both. It's wealthier by about every metric apart from household wealth and that is largely a result of how high real estate prices are in the UK and how Americans consider their retirement funds.
A gdp per capita of $56,897 vs the UK's $46,371.
A median household income of $53,913 vs the UK's $39,396 (£32,300), note data for Alabama is a couple of years old and has since increased with the different being made more stark when you consider that Alabama has a cost of living around 9% lower than the UK meaning your average family in Alabama has around 50% higher spending power than your average Brit.
