The answer is simple 'It-was-not-their-money-so-they-don't-care' – It's a cruel world.

It’s ok, it was a lot more btw if you include PPE and then there were ‘track and trace consultants’, it was a way of giving money to tory donors, politicians, relatives, friends. You were part of the government mogg, you remember……….. 😂😂 let’s just rewrite history.

The answer will always be the same, what causes this is BIG Government, Sloppy Government, Reclass government, stupid Laws, and Governance without consequences and knee-jerk reactions with NO thought of outcome (this used to be "Pros and Cons" then Critical Thinking) these days it's all about elections and staying In power, and the quality of Politicians is so Pathetic Low!!!!

Whoever wrote that money off should be held accountable. This is disgraceful, it is taxpayers money, not the Governments money. It has been stolen and these Government employees are complicit in the theft. There should be a major independent investigation into this whole scheme and recovery methods.JRM should name and shame.

Strange how JRM and his cronies in the Tory party were throwing most it at their friends and now they’re writing off the money as loss. It seems like conflict-of-interest

I said at the time that Sunak was so naive to do what he did. This country`s current poor financial state is totally down to Sunak. He is a complete idiot in my opinion.
