Alex Armstrong challenges Wes Streeting over new government plans to open safe and legal routes into Britain.
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is set to announce the plans which will fast-track refugees towards permanent settlement in the UK.
Speaking on GB News, the Defence Secretary praised the plans, saying: “Safe and legal routes are part of the answer for how we deal with the illegal boat crossings crossings which and the public are concerned about and we’re taking action on.”
