SPECIAL: Interview with Console Wars author Blake J. Harris

It’s a fascinating read and enlightening chronicle of the inner workings of Genesis-era Sega of America and its struggle against not only Nintendo but their Japanese parent company. One of South Africa’s leading job platforms, PNet, reports that vacancies advertised on its site increased by more than 4% month-on-month, while recruiter searches of candidate databases rose by 6%.
Despite the uptick, searches remain down 28% compared to a year ago, reflecting persistent weakness in the labour market. PNet warns that high inflation, fuel prices and electricity costs could further weigh on economic growth and job creation.
