“Britain’s MOST EXPENSIVE Airbnb” – Will Kensington MOCKS the STATE of the UK
Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.
This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.

Anyone who believes we can keep buying everything from abroad and sell nothing is beyond deluded!!!! See Turkey for details off not enough exports!!! You will have no money to buy anything or more specifically your money will be worth nothing!!!!

Self sufficiency is the only way any country can exist and the only sensible way to be sustainable
It’s insane that food shipped from the other side of the planet should be cheaper than that grown or grazed in the U.K. unless your a simpleton who doesn’t realise that the only ones who benefit from that policy are the international corporations!

What experience about life does this guy have? He can disagree with keeping manufactures in Britian as too expensive. The USA is still suffering from manufacturing in China, India etc. Canada is suffering from doing the same. I say keep as much as you can in Britian.

Really struggled with this one. The last thing I purchased that was made in the UK was probably a 2021 1 Oz Royal Mint Gold Britannia coin a couple of months ago as I haven't purchased any Scotch Whisky during that time.

The big elephant in the room that no one ever talks about is the pollution of the air by massive cargo planes, the pollution of the air and oceans 24/7 by massive rusted cargo ships from China are polluting the entire earth. Besides which the products are cheap but not of any quality. During the pandemic countries ran out of all sorts, manufacture at home and keep the supply chain here. Also, save British and American jobs. The west is shortsighted and playing a dangerous game.

The first thing I do with ANYTHING is look where it was made. Example ; the new Honda CRV (which was made in UK for 20 years before Honda closed down both their European bases because they "wanted to repatriate job to Japan") is actually made in COMMUNIST China. I like this car, but it will be a Nissan Qashqai for me next year (Made in UK). I just bought a 2024 Calendar – Made in Britain – unlike most others of Rural Britain which are printed in China or Turkey !! For me, I am always prepared to pay an extra 25% to buy something made here in the UK, giving UK people jobs (not jobs for Communists). But beware ! – 3-4 years ago, I wanted some posh wallpaper for our lounge. I saw one of those sample books and on the front "Still proudly made in Scotland after 200 years". I commented to the shop owner that this was very good to see. She told me that the wallpaper was NOT in fact "made in Scotland" – the pattern blocks were made in Scotland…..but the actual rolls of wallpaper were made out in India, and then imported back into the UK. No pride there, then. It's this sort of smoke & mirrors crap that gets on my nerves. BUY BRITISH WHEREVER POSSIBLE !!!!!
@bmofano

Be careful you're actually buying British and not just a "british" company

That teenage kid and the woman are ignorant. Support British jobs. Pay the extra for awhile until manufacturing is back home. Yes, British products are superior to anything, and so are American stuff. Buy local.
@nickbrown5457
December 26, 2023 at 8:16 pm
People assume all manufacturing has gone, but it hasn't. Just in the small town where I live there are several manufacturing plants, some huge, making such random things as car parts, aeroplane propellers, manufacturing machinery, switchgear, and textiles. They aren't manufacturing items you, as a member of the public, would buy on the high street or Amazon, so many people may be unaware, but they are there.
@user-hf1pg2ey6l
December 26, 2023 at 8:16 pm
Shipping manufactured goods around the planet is not very sustainable. China rust bucket cargo ships traversing oceans polluting air and ocean at once every day, 24/7. Hundreds of them. Not environmentally sound at all.

heres the real choice , buy british and keep your neighbors in work , or save your self some money and pay more taxes to pay your neighbors benefits, but then they can no longer afford your stuff and now your on the dole with them.

Bit quality that can be repaired without costing a bloody fortune.
Buy local produce. Support farmers not bloody supermarkets as much as you can.
Know your government system is corrupt and stinks!

If 'Made in Britain' is to mean anything, then 'British Standards' must also return/improve.
Currently, most jobs are halfarsed by the lowest bidder. Fast track to slavery.
