Israel-Gaza: Two more hostages released by Hamas – BBC News
Israel has confirmed that two more hostages in Gaza have been released by Hamas, bringing the number freed so far to four.
The two women have been named as Nurit Cooper, 79, and Yocheved Lifschitz, 85.

The women’s husbands are among the more than 200 people still being held inside Gaza.
Two American-Israelis, mother and daughter Judith and Natalie Raanan, were previously freed on Friday.

The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.
“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.
In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.
He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.
Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.
Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.
The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.
It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.
The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.
Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.
Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.
President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.

What the Western Media & of course Politicians do NOT want you to see is finally breaking the surface and opening the eyes of the people. You have to know that (simply google how many Palestinians are hostages in Israeli Prisons and this will come up..) "Aside from the 4,000 residents of the Gaza Strip, most of whom are held at the Sde Teyman military camp, about 6,000 Palestinians are imprisoned in Israeli jails and detention centers. The 5,200 jailed (before) October 7 are largely residents of the occupied (West Bank) and (East Jerusalem). They are hostages too all should be released! You would not even imagine how they are treated in Israeli Prisons of course unlike how well and maintained, treated, medicine provided and regularly medically attended to the hostages because they (Hamas) are Muslims, and like shown and told by every hostage ever released, they are told by Hamas soldiers "We are Muslims and we do not harm innocent women and children". Western Media of course continues to lie and what they'll most likely never to address is that the hostages report Hamas even cleans their TOILETS she says for fear over their hygiene and safety. The real threat to the hostages is the IDF & the corrupt Israeli/ backed-up Govs who care nothing about them but their Zionist goals and would sacrifice their own to achieve so. and NO this did not start strictly Oct 7 or what they keep calling it, Palestinians have been (and STILL) brutally murdered and misplaced for decades and this only now is receiving outrageous attention when they fought back against PRE-PLANNED GENOCIDE.

On January 4, 2020 Iran threatened Tell Aviv, U.S. bases in Middle East after killing of Soleimani. The October 7th attack on Israel is Iran back, but not Iran directed. The attacks on U.S. military in Iraq is Iran directed. If the Trump administration wouldn't have killed Soleimani these attacks on Israel and U.S. military personnel may not have happened.

Hamas is willing to give hostages if Israel provide fuel for hospitals and seize fire, but Israel and YS has decided that Israel will throw more bombs in Gaza so if hostages die as result of Israel air strikes then it is what it is required. Israel is not willing to give fuel for hospitals too. Is this not Israel snd US TERRORISM to kill civilians for Hamas freedom fighters to return Israel to 1947 borders
