At this stage i don't think "normals" are normal anymore, they've learnt too much, i would love to see the "normals" teach/take on other actual normals each episode, or something similar

I don't like guac or coconut so I go with fail. Give me Jaime's pizzas.

    Nachos are hand held

Who eats rice as a movie snack?

That alcohol has to be so strong there was no mixer or anything. The nachos looked tasty.

  8. @TheRuthPo

    January 11, 2024 at 8:44 pm

I think it looked really good, and I would pass it. But Janice did say to hold off on the alcohol and I think you could set that drink on fire. So I would say it would depend on if you consider that part of the brief or personal preference.

I think Ben might Be an alcoholic

Barry then Mike as the first and second to go breeds the best chaos and insanity lol. Barry comes up with the most wacky initial ideas, and Mike immediately changes everything in a blind panic XD

It took me a year but I got it in Jamie's mind fingers are not on one's hand but on the shoulders 😅

    January 11, 2024 at 8:44 pm

What Pass It On really needs is more cooks in the kitchen at the same time …in competition!

How is that not up to Janice?!

I normally am sort of able to defend Jamie's waffle but Nacho's not being hand-held but mini pizzas being hand-held is peak waffle lol

  15. @darrenparrish5558

    January 11, 2024 at 8:44 pm

I agree with Jamie. "Nachos" isn't handheld a nacho is but not nachos.

  16. @Andrade985googlemail

    Fail

  17. @FuSiionCraft

    January 11, 2024 at 8:44 pm

    Jamie's right.
Nachos are finger food, but they're not handheld.
A burrito is handheld. A temaki is handheld.

If you need to move your whole body to put your hand in a plate full of nachos in a table, it is, by definition, NOT handheld.

  18. @iamhocus

    January 11, 2024 at 8:44 pm

Jamie never fails to do the worst yet still give himself a 9+ :')

  19. @JudithOpdebeeck

    January 11, 2024 at 8:44 pm

also, how is Jamie making pizza's any different from Ben making fish pie?!

Jamie: "Is this a ring cutter?"
makes the literal same bun mistake

I am so with Jamie on this, Nachos are not hand held. If they are then anything you hold in a dish is hand held, spaghetti, lasagna, soup, ect. If you consider something to be hand held because you can hold the dish it is on in your hand while you eat it then anything is hand held at that point…

  23. @Sypher474

    January 11, 2024 at 8:44 pm

I'm with Jamie – there is a difference between eating bits of a larger dish with your hands, and having the entire self-contained item be handheld.

  24. @Liristis007

    January 11, 2024 at 8:44 pm

This felt like a a pass. It is what they set out from the 1st idea, just about! And ive had nachos at the cinema so relatable

    January 11, 2024 at 8:44 pm

Mike is giving off strong manic energy 😂

  26. @nikkicoyotie8431

Jamie is dead on. Nachos are not hand held.

if you can get james back for an episode it would be cool to do a chef vs chef vs chef, with ben kush and james

    Lol totally fail 😊

  29. @ethancampbell215

I love the fact that Jamie hated the plan and it’s outcome and went on a tangent to make his own thing because he felt like the brief wasn’t adhered to yet provided an alternative that matched the description of the dish already being made 😂😂 there was literally no difference between the two options, they both needed a plate to rest on but were still handheld, were sweet or savoury, moreish and was accompanied by a beverage to wash it down 😂😂 his mini pizzas genuinely mirrored the teams sweet nachos in terms of the brief and seeing Jamie be so proud of his contribution thinking it was game changing when he literally Spaffed it is prime Sorted 😂😂 the only thing missing was a Barry Taylor contribution that got lost in translation, got slewed by everyone after him and then got abused for around the table for the reveal, like his decision to add lime juice and zest to stewing rhubarb in the pastry challenge making an already sour fruit an unbearably sour eating experience and completely ignoring everything he’s learned over the years by discounting the seasoning triangle, disregarding any sweetness or saltiness and instead adding sourness into an already sour ingredient 😂😂

  30. @maromania7

    January 11, 2024 at 8:44 pm

Jamie looked at the nacho and mini pizza like a toddler trying to work out why left became right when they turned around. Watching something actually make Jamie's self confidence waver is a wonderous sight, as I'm pretty sure he could've set the building ablaze and still given himself an 8 for walking in when called.

I like the mixture of mango and avocado. Usually from a pub meal i have a curry, pie or burger, but once had a simple salad of pieces of grilled chicken, raw avocado, mango, and spinach, in a honey and mustard dressing. It was delicious, and i've made it myself a few times since.
