Bev Turner blasts Keir Starmer’s ‘shameless’ exit speech whilst taking aim at the ‘two-faced’ Labour figures who gave the outgoing Prime Minister a warm reception on his way out of Downing Street.

In his speech Keir Starmer said his “work is done” as he announced his intention to meet the King and offer his resignation.

Addressing the nation from No10 with senior Labour figures and his wife standing behind him, Sir Keir said serving as Prime Minister was the “privilege of my life”.

He said: “I’m about to visit His Majesty the King to offer my resignation and close the book on my time as Prime Minister. My work is done.”

He then went on to outline what he deemed to be the successes during his time as PM.

GB News told how residents feel IGNORED by government as migrants move in to former army barracks

Published

This man has told GB News how he feels let down by the Government after former military bases near his home have been turned into housing for asylum seekers.

Speaking to Patrick Christys in Crowborough, Simon said he was disappointed that a facility that used to help the armed forces is now being used to house illegal immigrants.

He said: “Every time we ask a question, we get given the body swerve by the Government and the Home Office and all of the authorities, we don’t get straight answers.”

A Wealden District Council spokesperson said: “Wealden District Council understands that the situation at Crowborough Army Camp has caused concern and uncertainty for many residents. However, the council does not accept that it has failed to engage with residents.

“Since the Home Office announced plans to use the camp, the council has remained actively involved, seeking further information and clarity on behalf of residents and ensuring local views and concerns are represented.”
