Some Pro kitchens use industrial can crushers because empty tins and cans are mostly air taking up valuable space, filling bins quickly and making waste areas messy. Crushing them can reduce waste volume by up to 85-90% meaning time is saved from staff with fewer runs to the bin, cleaner back-of-house areas, easier recycling and potentially lower collection costs.
