US and Russia hold “frank” talks over Ukraine tension – BBC News
Americans are reacting to President Donald Trump’s escalating feud with Pope Leo XIV and the backlash surrounding an AI-generated image depicting the president as a Jesus-like figure, which has since been deleted.
On Monday, Trump posted a lengthy Truth Social message attacking the pontiff, who has been a vocal critic of the US and Israeli military operations in Iran.
He criticised the Pope, calling him “weak on crime” and “terrible for foreign policy”.
The Pope said on Monday that he has “no fear” of the Trump administration or “speaking out loudly of the message of the Gospel, which is what I believe I am here to do”.

US President Donald Trump said US-Iran talks could restart in Pakistan “in the next two days”, though Iran is yet to comment.
He also said the war is “very close to over”, in a preview of an interview released by Fox News.
Meanwhile, Israel’s attacks on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon continue, after it held talks with the Lebanese government in the US on Tuesday.

Count me in with those who say America involves itself in to many wars or we can't be the world polic men. We are out of Afganistan, and I'm sorry it's not working to well for them, but three foreign affairs can't be conducted from half a word away. Similarly it should divest from Israel and Saudi Arabia it does that for oil and geo political reasons, but that our oil centric market has been one huge crush to keep the patient limping along, what will truly cure our ills is to develop the final slivers of solar and nature based energy solutions that will truly leap us to the economy of the future and its demands. Similarly, we should get out of South America we are there, just as we where in the mid twenties century as we were there for the Dole fruit canning companies and the Big Banana industries in putting down revolutions against those companies, and making sure global capitalism enjoyed and still does its monopoly. But when it comes to defending Ukraine and also Tiawan, to sleep in this action is for the world to loose its faith with America alience and umbrella alience said like NATO, pretty soon every one of America's allies. Would read the writing on the walls and start to fend for themselves, with a build up of there own militaries and nuclear proliferation. Having the defense of America in some cases frees up many economies and agendas to their own social priorities.

Here comes world war three goodbye Earth, my time with you was very happy i enjoyed my trips to the seashores to watch the seas lapping up on the norfolk sea shore and watched the stars in the pitch black skys over the seas in the nightime skys. I enjoyed all my gardening and growing veg in my back garden putting up with english weathers from a few days of scorching heat to cold rain and wind. They need to tell Putin there going to bring in more military and more operations of training exercises, into those locations. Then tell Putin he's over exaggerating the situation. I'm quite sure Germany full well understood what was going to happen and Putin has been very busy with his cyber war and gathering information.
