Junior doctors should leave the country, ure work is not appreciated like the MPs, they are getting a pay rise not like the NHS

Final responsibility for patient care is that of the Tory Government.. 100%

If they are so important… Pay them better then.

How many lives are lost because of a underfunded NHS?

  5. @david-ky7rt

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

Princess Grace Hospital is a Private Hospital, not the same as the NHS.

I see this on the internet, says
what is a junior doctor?, This is what it said:
A junior doctor is any medical graduate who is in "further training and not yet qualified to practice independently without supervision".
So when I read that, that's telling me, that the Doctor has some medical degree , but has not yet finish all the training.
Just like an apprentice, example; Electrician, studied level 1, studied level 2, studied level 3, (degree ), still on training money, then when fully qualified and works with a senior electrician for a further 2-3 years, then the pay scale increases.
I would say, a so called junior Doctors salary isn't that bad, ( "Still Training" ), £30,000 – £35,000 a year, then when fully qualified with a number of years experience, your pay scale increases, like any job that requires a number of years training.
Everyone seems to be getting on the bandwagon with strike action.

I think the NHS should shift efforts away from Tory voters. The people that voted to destroy the NHS and are now opposing fair pay for workers can clearly afford to go private. So let's give care to those that support us and hold back from tory voters

  8. @ilikelampshades6

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

Why do right wing politicians only care about patient safety on the 2 or 3 days of strikes and don't care how many people die from easily avoidable injuries/illness over the previous decade of non-strikes?

Farage firing up his two neurones. Shame one’s inhibitory

Hypocrisy at its best!!! You acknowledge that junior doctors save lives, yet you want to pay them less than your barista?!?

  11. @DC-gw1fc

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

So by you moaning like you always do, surely it highlights how important their jobs are and therefore should be paid to reflect that?

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

After getting good treatment of his mother how shameful is this that ungrateful person does not consider their service. Why do you deserve money when u have no brain in your head.

I am 82 , no longer live in England but did so for 75 years. My local surgery for the past 40 years never had an English Doctor , only two were white , an Irishman and a Jew who didn't stay long. The exodus of British Doctors to America and Australia has been going on for years.

  16. @psps2034

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

Nobody is dying this week because emergency care is still covered .
Why should the doctor removing your appendix at night or the doctor delivering your anaesthetic have to work between 48 to 60 hours a week just to be paid above 3k in hand per month ?
For the level of work they do and hours , they should be paid more ! Or they should be paid the same and have to only work 40 hours .

Nigel Fart is back at it again, casting opinions on subjects beyond his intelligence, that is if he has any…lol

Pay them fairly then, simple really nige.

  19. @thesaltbaron-du6mo

Consultants are doing all the emergency care. It will probably be more safe, but far far far more expensive.

  27. @colinlawless5654

Standards in this country are at an all-time low. These are not proper Doctors anyway they just google most of it. Nobody now gives a toss about anyone else. Our social unity has been destroyed by technology and diversity. We are no longer a caring country. Sad.

  28. @Tondaloona03

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

All they care about is cold, hard cash.

Sorry to hear about your mother Nigel.

  29. @tonygyles7351

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

Junior doctors are leaving the country in vast numbers for Canada and Australia.
We are a capitalist country which means we work on laws of supply and demand.
Pay the going salary or else expect exodus to get bigger.

  36. @gsg9205

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

Unprofessional behaviour from these idiots! They forget they serve the public the same public whom endured two years of lockdown to protect the NHS! Shameful behaviour! Where's your duty of care? If any patients die during this greedy grab for money then I hope you hang your heads in shame instead of blowing whistles and chanting juvenile chants on picket lines!

  37. @PandaPowerable

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

Junior doctors are treating stroke victims? Probably just as well they're on strike….make it three weeks!

  38. @michaelbrooke1385

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

We all have a right to withdraw our employment and strike,it is a democracy.

  39. @aleph8888

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

It’s not how much they earn just out of university; it’s how much they earn over decades of a career. And one definition of a professional is somebody who represents somebody else’s interests, not merely their own.

  40. @johngraves2755

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

Blame the Tories. They are the ones that have been in power but not for long.

  41. @ancietman

    January 25, 2024 at 4:05 pm

Remember when we all clapped the NHS now they coordinating their strikes to cause the public maximum damage.

Nobody trusts the so called professional anything anymore!
