Ethnic conflict and murder grip India’s state of Manipur – BBC News
The state of Manipur in north-east India has been rocked with ethnic violence, in a conflict marked by murder and sexual crimes against women.
The fighting between the majority Meitei and minority Kuki communities has left hundreds of people dead. Neighbours who lived peacefully together are now involved in a bloody conflict over issues including rights to land, jobs and political power.
The state is deeply divided and with claims that India’s government has been slow to step in, civilians are taking matters into their own hands.

Here comes the biased BBC media “Majority” meiti? You meant to say indigenous Meiti living in the area for 2000 years. and foreigners new “kuki”coming in to the country trying to do ethnic cleansing of Hindus and divide India to take geopolitical advantage.
