Rescue efforts continue in Japan after at least 64 people were killed in a powerful earthquake that hit the country on New Year’s Day.
Homes collapsed, buildings caught fire and roads were extensively damaged, hindering the work of rescue services.
The epicentre of the 7.6 quake was the Noto peninsula, in central Japan.
Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said that emergency services were locked in a “race against time” to rescue survivors.

Hawk Fire wildfire in Nevada expected to rage for another two days, say officials | BBC News
US fire crews have reported progress in their efforts to tackle a large wildfire menacing the city of Reno, Nevada – saying the blaze is about a quarter contained.
The Hawk Fire, which began on Saturday, had spread over 15,000 acres by Monday, firefighters said.
Evacuation orders remain in place for 23,000 people, though other residents have now been allowed to return to their homes. Tens of thousands of other residents have been told to be ready to leave at any moment.
Officials are concerned that gusts of wind could drive the flames towards more homes. Unfavourable weather conditions are forecast for the next two days, meaning the fire could continue to burn during that timeframe.

日本は流したくない映像や情報は控える国です。
腐った自民党が莫大な裏金や脱税をしながら、被災者には20万円を貸し付けるという考え方です。
どうか、日本の裏金のニュースを詳しく取り上げて下さい。

We strongly condemn the inefficient rescue methods of the Japanese government, which completely ignore the importance of the golden time for disaster relief to the lives of the victims. A government that does not care about the safety of its citizens should be condemned. Please attach importance to the human rights of citizens.

This is all due to China. They are drilling holes to reach earths curst. Which causes deformation to the stratified soil at greater depth, also soil is semi infinite at greater depth from ground surface, also the surface area of the earth decrease (due to decrease in radius of the earth as we go closer to the crust), if surface area decreased, the point of origin of the land of Japan, india, afghanistan, nepal many country becomes close to each other. That is why there is earth quake in Nepal, india, afghanistan and Japan. As we deeper into earths crust than far countries like australia, newzland, Russia will also experience earth quake.
