Ukraine war: Russia hits back after Kyiv attack on border city – BBC News
Ukraine has come under attack by Russian air strikes again, officials say, after two days of major aerial assaults by both sides.
Most attacks were concentrated on Kharkiv in the east, but explosions were also reported elsewhere.
Moscow said it was retaliating against Ukrainian strikes on the Russian border city of Belgorod on Saturday, which killed at least 24 people.
That came after Russia carried out air strikes across Ukraine on Friday.

This was discussed at the table today.I am a Ukrainian myself.From a well-fed life, people have become stupid and turned into animals that are manipulated. Worse than animals, because the excitement has disappeared, and even some instincts have been dulled, the desire to sacrifice oneself for the sake of society has disappeared. Everyone is buried in their bowls and for most life is a show and only personal self-realization in this world. No one wants to fight for someone's ideas, or kill, much less die. Everyone understands perfectly well that Russians and Ukrainians were tied up in blood and pushed together for the sake of selfish goals of those in power.But after all, the common enemy managed to accomplish something that had been impossible all these years. When a brother went after a brother to the delight of a common enemy. who destroys us with each other's hands, freeing up territories for themselves.Ukrainians and Russians, Belarusians are the best Slavs warriors.Those few who are still able to fight for ideas, not for money.Hurtful. For me, this war is a huge tragedy of the same people. It is unclear how the West has managed to rewire the consciousness of our people in 30 years

I'm from Ukraine. I think we were deliberately quarreled with the Muscovites, with Russia. We have always lived together.We are one people. They began to dig into the history, rewrite it. New generations have already been born. The rich just found a reason to set us off in order to saw through our lands and riches that have not belonged to the peoples for a long time. Isn't that right?Did we have a bad life under the USSR? Ask your grandfathers. How strong the USSR was, what opportunities the people and youth had. But someone decided to take the people's lands and take them away. No one from the people voted for the collapse of the USSR. Nobody. The authorities made the decision themselves. And the government is not the voice of the people.

This war has nothing to do with democracy.Russia has been living peacefully with its EU neighbours until we brought up this senseless proxy war.
Homelessness, shelter, hunger, and rising cost of living are of less importance to these well-off politicians, who only wanted to make a name for themselves as being the ones who defeated Russia.

I'm of the mind that until Russians have much more pain in their lives, they will simply ignore their country attacking Ukraine. Therefore it be upon the Free World to ensure as quickly as possible that the entire nation of the Despot Country Russia pays for it's transgressions against Ukraine and Humanity.

BBC you do remember that Russia attacked Ukraine first not the other way around? And in this case the Ukrainian missile attack came AFTER a massive Russian attack on Ukrainian cities! This reporting seems to have a Russian bias get your act together you are supposed to report the facts not your version of them,

Об атаке Украины на мирные площади Белгорода не хотите поведать? 25 погибших русских мирных, включая 5 детей. Более 100 пострадавших. Что сделал бы Израиль в таком случае? Стер бы пару палестинских городов. Не разбираясь, есть ли там мирные. Но Россия бьет снова только по военным сооружениям.

Добрая Украина убивала Русских на Донбассе с 2014 года ( погибло 13 000 женщин и детей ) Добрая Украина 🇺🇦 хотела стать членом НАТО и разместить военно морскую базу США в Одессе ( городе Русской боевой Славы ) в 2021 году здание штаба ВМС США в Одессе было готово на 95%. Совсем неожиданно злой России это НЕ ПОНРАВИЛОСЬ.

Why the Russians who live in the free countries do not go to rallies under the Russian's flags against the war in Ukraine? But they do it to support the war and V. Putin. Most of the Russians people are not the victims of the Putin's propaganda! Putin is result of the Russian society. There are the normal of Russians but they are very few and they cannot influence to anything. Most of the Russians are aggressive, lazy, have just school only education. They hate everything successful. Everything what you know about Russia is Moscow but you can open a Google Map and randomly choice any place on the map, inside Russia's borders, and you can see the real Russia (it's a devastation and poverty). And Russia has always been in this state
