Shows a solid lack of actual cooking ability when all you do is use a fucking waterbath to cheat you way along. It works for plenty of stuff but its lazy as fuck to use it for everything.

The way I look at dining out, it's like you're seeing, tasting & enjoying the artwork (dishes) presented by the artist (The Chef). Chefs bust their asses for years in kitchens with very little pay to eventually gain knowledge and open their own place. So essentially if you go to the right place, you're able to experience someones passion & dreams right there on a plate in front of you.

I wonder how much this costed. It's not like there's a bunch of skill involved here. You put fish or the chicken in a souve, set the temperature, then walk away. When the time is up, you pan fry the fucking thing. That's it. If you can put something in a hot pan with oil and you have a souve machine, you can remake all of this pretty easily

In some restaurants you should really take a 200€ after having lunch and vent it while saying "do you smell it?" "yes" "alright, now you owe me 100€ for smeling it " and leave the restaurant without paying the bill.

Ermm?? Where is the food? I walk in hungry. I leave $100 less and still hungry. Yes! it tasted amazing. But so does Wendy's. $100 and hungry vs $9 and full. 🤔

  15. @BatehamRadio

    January 23, 2024 at 11:27 am

It's clear a lot of people in this comment section have never had fancy mess like this.. you're not paying $200 for a single plate of food.. it's multiple courses.

    2:28 Executed really *well

  17. @karimelloumi5119

    January 23, 2024 at 11:27 am

It's a multi course meal, when you eat there you get like 6 or 7 dishes, you will be full at the end for sure, and tastes amazing.

"Food experts" are some of the snobbiest people, maybe "wine experts" top them off. How could you rate something totally subjective, like if you find that McDonald's food tastes better than something at a fancy restaurant are you in the wrong ?

  28. @ivanmclennon

    January 23, 2024 at 11:27 am

How do they serve this thing if it takes 12 hours to cook chicken in a plastic bag? Do they have them cooked every day for tomorrow and there always is someone to order it every day?

  29. @iqbalbb2

  30. @TheButcherMuayThai

    January 23, 2024 at 11:27 am

gourmet food is very different from diner food.. gourmet food focused on delicious first bite while diner food focused on third bite to keep the costumer consuming the food. basically if you want to eat food to satisfy your hunger you need to go to a diner restaurant. but if you want a food to satisfy your palate you need to go to a gourmet restaurant. simple. no need to debate what is good or bad.. each restaurant has its own good point..

  31. @darkSokaK

    January 23, 2024 at 11:27 am

I really don't understand it because when i am hungry i don't wana take a pic of my dish and talk how beautiful was decoratet and how it smells, if i go to a restaurant like this probably i'll need to pay a lot of money cose when im hungry i eat and i dont give a fuck how the food looks like in a dish.

  32. @hirozensarutobi470

    January 23, 2024 at 11:27 am

im calling kitchen nightmares to be here challenge 😁

  33. @joe13crawley

    January 23, 2024 at 11:27 am

I'm not an expert on fine dining by any means but from my experience although the dishes are small they are part of a meal consisting of several courses. I went to a restaurant once where the portions looked tiny but it was actually a 7 course menu, by the end of it I felt very full and I'm a big eater.

Fancy food is like Modern art. Everyone on the outside can see that's its overpriced nonsense, while the Rich people and critics sit there and jerk off over it.

  36. @misterawsomeman

    January 23, 2024 at 11:27 am

LMAO 2:15, would you like some table with your wine glasses?

  37. @elliesmith8076

    January 23, 2024 at 11:27 am

I believe these dishes are meant to satisfy your tastebuds, not fill you up. If you want to be full and eat adequate food, go to a fast food joint.

  38. @khoado123

    January 23, 2024 at 11:27 am

why are all these rich people so out of shape ? i mean look at what they eat…
