I feel so sorry for Ben because he, as is typical in most challenges he takes on, handled the majority of the burden on his shoulders independently because Barry is a horrific teammate in comparison to Mike, making a dessert celebrating pasta and ignoring the plethora of amazing ingredients available must have been disheartening and then trying to get praise from a globally renowned highly decorated icon of the culinary industry who’s famous for shouting, swearing and insulting people’s cooking is a once in a lifetime occurrence and there was no chance a dish that Barry was involved in was getting a compliment 😂

Ben must’ve been the one to suggest Gordon Ramsay just to drop the fact he’s cooked for him before 😂😂 he loves a cheeky name drop and there’s no bigger name in the culinary industry than Gordon Ramsay 😂

First thing I thought of was Teriyaki or Butter Chicken pastas. Too bad.

To me sounds and visually looks too complicated. Have deliciously sweet fresh crab meat and sweet summer corn over homemade pasta tossed in a sweet cream homemade butter. Perhaps sprinkled with some lemon thyme and Maldon sea salt. Maybe too precious but delicious – some peppery and sweet candied edible flowers like lavender or something to garnish.

There’s this Indian dessert which uses vermicelli noodles as it’s base. I think that fits this brief

    Fresh pasta
Sweet Vanilla creme anglaise with orange zest
    Shaved bittersweet chocolate

    It was actually pretty good

Even if Ramsay didn't really like it, it was the thought that counted and it still I am sure was tasty and it did look pretty spectacular!
