When watching a lot of british and american baking/cooking videos some of the ingredients really strikes me. WTF is "self-rising flour"?!?!?!
I have never seen or heard of that before.
Are we just behind the times in Norway?
Also, what is heavy cream? Is that just flรธte? Is there also light cream?
Is butternilk just milk and melted butter? Can you buy buttermilk??
(Really hope someone dosen't point out we've actually got this stuff, but I'm just blind)

With a lot of cooking I find going for the middle opinion of complexity and time is best but for baking I always wanna go for the end one. The satisfaction of making it is always worth it and I say that as someone who spent 8 hours total (taking breaks because of chronic pain) baking a black forest gateau for my uncles 41st birthday. Him being so happy with it and everyone else loving it made it worth all the time and effort.
