Ukraine war: UN team leaves for Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant – BBC News
An inspection team from the UN nuclear watchdog is on its way to Ukraine’s embattled Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the organisation’s head has said.
Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said the team was expected to arrive at the plant later this week.
“We must protect the safety and security of Ukraine’s and Europe’s biggest nuclear facility,” he tweeted.
The nuclear plant has been occupied by invading Russian troops since March.

A Russian drone hit an apartment block in Romania causing a fire and wounding two people, officials say.
The incident happened on Friday in the town of Galati – close to Romania’s eastern border with Ukraine and Moldova.
Nato Secretary General Mark Rutte said “Russia’s reckless behaviour is a danger to us all”, while European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Russia’s “war of aggression had crossed yet another line”.
Russian drones have strayed across Romania’s border a number of times during the four-year war with Ukraine, but it is the first time citizens from the Nato country have been hurt. Russia has yet to comment on the incident.

US and Ukraine jointly planned Kiev's failed counteroffensive in Donbass.
The US press reported this Wednesday (31) that the Kiev counteroffensive in Donbass was also planned by the US.
The United States and Ukraine collaborated to plan an alleged counteroffensive by Kiev in the south of the country to ensure they did not over-extend their battlefronts and get stuck in various fighting, CNN reported.
The Pentagon conducted a so-called "war game" with Ukraine to help Kiev understand how to muster and apply the forces needed to be effective in different situations, several US sources told the broadcaster, which also heard from Ukrainian sources.
As reported, the United States urged Kiev to limit its operations in Donbass both in terms of targets and geography to avoid delays. Ukraine was considering a larger counteroffensive at first, but has reduced the scope of its mission to the south, in the Kherson region, according to a report.

In the midst of Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky's efforts to block visas from Europe for Russian citizens, the Italian press made a discovery that once again exposes the hypocrisy of the Ukrainian head of state.
According to a report in the newspaper Il Tirreno, the Ukrainian president's residence located in Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany, was rented for 50,000 euros (R$ 261,000) this month by a Russian couple. The property is valued at 4 million euros (R$ 20.88 million).
Photos of the house posted by the couple on social media were the key for the newspaper to discover the contract. The portal also called the tenants and held a phone conversation in Russian to confirm the origin of the residents of Zelensky's house.

Why are they going there? They know already who is shelling it and who should stop. I'm happy they have delegates from non-western aligned nations so let's see how they come up with their usual lies that a side who occupies both the plant and the town it's situated ends up shelling it. Things are now going in the reverse, Western truths are now being known as lies and propaganda. This is a hypersonic decline of the integrity of the West, the nuclear power plant issue exposed it all, if they had done the right thing people wouldn't have seen the grand deceit.
This war has to end, we all know it is an illegal invasion by Russia on Ukraine, however Russia isn't the first and won't be the last, as we have same overlords invading and present in other nations as I text. shame.
