Andy Burnham compared to “Sheriff of Nottingham” over new “mansion tax”
Andy Burnham has been branded the “Sheriff of Nottingham” by a Tory MP as HMRC valuation agents are set to descend on British homes to determine eligibility to pay the steep new “mansion tax”.
Speaking to GB News, Shadow Cabinet Office Minister Mike Wood compared the Prime Minister to the villainous rival of Robin Hood as he hit out at plans to hike levies on higher-value homes.
Inspectors could be sent to determine whether homeowners will be liable for a new surcharge on higher-value homes, and those who refuse agents entry could face criminal prosecution and a fine of up to £200.
Additionally, homeowners who do not supply requested information without a “reasonable excuse” could attract a fine of up to £500.

Dear Lame-Dame Jenkyns,
When the shit hits the fan after the next GE, you are absolutely (with others) going to be blamed for 'imploding' the Conservative party.
I take it you take up the offers to speak a load of bile on shows like this, as it's a hope that the folks of Morley are going to be watching and give you the nod again.
Well you must be deluded if you think that you are going to convert Rachel Reeves Labour stronghold of votes you've inherited, and the people of Morley have had enough of your hollow promises.
You know it could be that just a few years after your impending GE defeat, you will be begging music promoters to earn a few quid singing at working mens clubs.

Farage says that Boris never believed in Brexit. True brexiteers in the party are doing it right by keeping him away from the party. Sunak should never allow him to return.

The Civil Service has never liked Brexit it means they might have to do some work now. The Tories likewise, and i dont mean the membership and obviously not the ERG, were abit half-hearted about Brexit. Except as a vote winner last time. I say that as a Tory.

So go for it, write your letter of “no confidence” in Rishi and get the lying bumbling buffoon back, you are going to lose at the next election anyway, so there’s no point in having suicidal thoughts when you are already dead men walking!

Of course the BLOB mandarins across Whitehall ARE doing what their masters in brussels tell them to do……….Destabilise the UK ……plain & simple.
Its the BLOBS choice of handing out retribution to ALL those who voted to LEAVE……..It stopped these treasonous bastards joining the eu gravy train for their 'services rendered' …….SO, THIS country WILL NOW SUFFER CONTINUED EU INSPIRED AGGRESSION ……..as part of THE EU PUNISHMENT PLAN for BREXIT……
As before, THE UK SIMPLY DOSNT NEED THIS CORRUPT EU CABAL……………………..WTO IS THE ONLY WAY FORWARD FOR THE UK………but then, we have the useless sunak who loves the eu to the point where HE IS ACTIVELY ENCOURAGING HIS INDIAN NATION TO FLOOD HERE…………….Just how many more curry houses do we need across the UK ?

All right minded conservative MPs should resign from the party. Either join Reform or stand as independent MPs. This country outside of the London bubble have had enough of being shafted by the establishment blob… I for one will never vote for either of the establishment parties …vote reform.
