INGREDIENTS
100g raisins or currants
1 orange
60g butter (softened)
100ml sunflower oil
200g soft brown sugar (or demerara)
50g honey
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp ground cinnamon
120g plain flour
240g porridge oats

This is my favourite cookie even above double chocolate. Just one oat and raisin cookie with its warm cinnamon smell is enough to raise a smile on a dark and rainy day. Thank you for the recipe.

We all call it a ice cream scoop when in all actuality it's called a portion scoop. If you have one with that wire that goes under the ice cream if you look at it it has a number and that's how many portions you can get with that scoop

Is there a way to get this recipe? It isn't listed on sortedfood.com nor on the coop site. Since Ben does not give all the measurements but refers you to the link below that doesn't give you the recipe, it feels like I wasted my time watching how to make these cookies and having to guess at the volume of things like baking powder.

I made these. I didn't like them very much. They ended up very dry, and the raisins still burned a bit. All that aside, I wasn't a fan of the flavor, either. This is the second desert recipe I've made from Sorted that I didn't enjoy. I'm a big fan of the savory dishes, but I think I'll just give the deserts a pass from now on.

An awesome variation is to add orange zest and/or some chopped up chocolate (milk or dark) instead of the raisins. A couple of warm cookies and a glass of milk is one of the best things in life
