“Britain’s MOST EXPENSIVE Airbnb” – Will Kensington MOCKS the STATE of the UK
Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.
This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.

I worked from 1968 until 2017 never 'claiming' from the State during that time. But the fact is it is the poLIEtical 'class' who continually make a mess of the British Economy Wasting Billions every year who are at fault…..and remember the Billions of Taxpayers money, including mine, that was used to Bail out the Poor Old Banks and keep them Solvent….there was plenty of money available to do that….right ?

Government can not afford state pension, their own ponzi scheme is now crashing.
I see the state pension in the future, either having a cut off, say If born after this x y or z date. then you will not get state pension, OR i see it being means tested. there simply is not enough money to pay for it.
For your own sakes, please do not intend on relying on the state pension, pay into your own pension, out side of the governments fiscal ineptitude, you will regret ever relying on the government for anything

Truth bombs the Government dont want you to know .
The Uk pension is the losest in the western world.
Most get a measly and pittifull £156 a week.
This can be topped up with a means tested benefit called pensions credit. This means responsible people who saved and planned ther pension get nothing. If you wasted every penny of your salary znd saved nothkng then your tjiusands and thousands richer. Clear lesson here . Dont have a private pension and save nothing

As a pensioner, I am happy with the lower wage calculation. Any pensioner who doesn’t know that they are better off than people on low wages is ignorant and ditto that they will receive more than future pensioners.

Have to increase state pension age for 70-75. After everybody have to live from private work pension and spend their saved money for private dentists and doctors. And the government can save all the money. But would be the life better? Sure not!
Wealthy pensioners doesn't need state pension or triple lock, but the rest ones they need more than triple lock! We can't live without war and weapons! But can we live without any pensioners?

the british pension is very.very low ..when the government have frozen the tax codes we pay tax on our pensions.
8.5% is sod all rise when its so low and everything is going up in price.
all the government had to do was to separate the cost of elctrivity/gas for the home and busines and drop the vat on it as the top price of gas sets the price we have to pay
RUSHI will not do that as he get billions extra in vat from the increase in fuel. A TOTAL SELF CENTRED MAN dedicated to robing the lower level population.
rushi stop giveing billions away through gifts and camerons law and start to look after our own people

The story with British State Pensions gets much worse if you move abroad to a country that does not have a reciprocal welfare payments agreement with the UK, which means that the UK will refuse to 'uprate' (index-link) your pension so that it does not rise in line with inflation, even though you will have paid annual increases in contributions. After around 17 to 20 years, the purchasing power of these pensions is reduced by around 50%. The Department of Work and Pensions will not tell you about this, unless you ask them direct and most people only become aware of this once they reach the UK's retirement age and claim their pensions. There UK government refuses to change its policy on this and is indifferent to the increasing amounts of grinding poverty that directly affects around 500,000 pensioners that live outside of the UK. This policy is discriminatory, immoral and tantamount to theft.

I will never fathom the justification of people wishing to ruin others pensions. You work all your life only to have idiots begrudge your (not exactly enormous) pension and try to find ways to make it worse. Utterly disgraceful. Yet another classic case of distraction and diversion. Successive governments have run the UK into ground, squandered money on an epic scale to various areas that the public doesn't endorse but no, the problem is the temerity of old people to still be alive and how dare they be a "burden" on the public purse? Get real.

There may not be many millionaire pensioners drinking from the water hole, but there will be many reasonably wealthy pensioners who own their own homes, paid off mortgages, etc who don't need a state pension. Linking to inflation and some sort of means test is the way forward. That way the people who really need it, get it, and the pot doesn't need to be so big because it's not just paid to everyone of pension age!
