As a Florida born native, I've never understood why so many Yankees make the Cubano with pulled pork. It should be thinly sliced pork loin, not pulled pork. As you have correctly done. Serve with fried plantain tostones and deviled crab. Also, that pickle wedge is a nightmare. Slices, please. It's not a Chicago dog. Good job.

As a cuban you guys are killing me , I was born in Cuba. sorry to chef what's his name but that is no way to make a cuban sandwich. First we use Mojo for the pork, consist of garlic, oregano ,sour orange. And so on.
And the sandwich has 7 deli meats and Swiss cheese and thin pickles. What you guys made is a made up sandwich that is used in Florida because they don't want to spend time or money to make the original sandwich.

I have tried to replicate a Cuban sandwich a few times and did pretty well but I can't find the Cuban style sandwich rolls in Chicago.
