Well, do you know why it costs that much? Answer: you don’t let them work and prison them in hotels.

What about the economic migrants that are here already? Is it too late for them to be deported?

  20. @lesleywild8706

    January 14, 2024 at 2:30 am

But we aren't registering these people as far as I understand (i.e. listing them in some sort of database, fingerprinting etc.) so how will we keep in touch with most of the dangerous fake claimants? Fast track their cases, weed out the false ones and deport them asap (using the successful hit and miss method?) oh, and then we find that their own countries probably won't take them back!

The problem is sorting out the back log of immigration let alone sorting out who is legal the numbers speak for themselves UK need to get tough on immigration what about the criminal gangs who have already established themselves here. We don't know who is in the country now. Tony Blair has a lot to blame for the immigration issue in our country.

Also, Darren the UK has to answer to an EU Court, that is 100% partisan. Britain will NEVER get a fair hearing in such a partisan leftist Court. Yet NEVER refuses to be judged by said Court. Abides, by their dictats. When the SHOULD be refusing to attend such a Court, as it is 100% EU 'biased.'

PM & cabinet are the worst cases of failing upward in Britain's history.

We have numerous migrant camps across the world, where people are processed then brought here. There are routes, there are ways, those who do not want to give their true identity, because they're not refugees, use the illegal route.
I'd like those celebs to take note of the fact my taxes I paid as my dues and aslo to provide with a safety net should the worst happen, I got sick with a disease I didn't know I had but have always had that is ruining my joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles. The safety net money that should be there for people who paid into it are being giving to people illegally coming into our country.
The NHS is creeking it was bad before covid, now it's horrific, and yet we are still debating stopping these illegals coming I'm who pay NOTHING to the tax purse for years, while tax payers money, and insurance for the worst case scenario, are left to rot.

    January 14, 2024 at 2:30 am

the £2.1 billion does not cover housing benefits, unemployment benefits, translators & police & court costs!

  28. @pmarmify

    January 14, 2024 at 2:30 am

under international law these illegals should apply for asylum IN FIRST SAFE COUNTRY. France is a SAFE country, So is Turkey & Greece etc. Just boot these illegal out & save billions £'s every YEARS!

  29. @winstonsmith4156

    January 14, 2024 at 2:30 am

Nothing will happen. All words as per usual. A immigrant in charge of immigration. Says it all .

  30. @bushmanPMRR

    January 14, 2024 at 2:30 am

Just look at the furore at plush, elite Martha's Vineyard when a busload of illegals were dropped off there!
These slebs are just saying what they think will further their careers without actually applying any critical thinking whatsoever to their own statements.

  31. @peterbrown3799

    January 14, 2024 at 2:30 am

if they enter our country by illegal means queue jumping the honest refugees who enter by legal means , then yes they are criminals..

BREAKING: Nigel Farage WINS Clacton by-election

Published

on

By

Nigel Farage has won the Clacton by-election, the vote he has long described as a “people vs Establishment” contest.

Shortly after 6am, Mr Farage was confirmed to have returned to the House of Commons.

He secured 22,239 votes while his closest rival, a satirical candidate named Count Binface, received 9,455.

The other main Westminster parties boycotted the by-election entirely, though Mr Farage could face them in a potential second vote at a later date.

Mr Farage resigned as an MP to trigger the contest at the start of July amid a probe by the parliamentary standards commissioner over a £5million gift he received before becoming an MP.
