I actually have a recipe in the book (tres leches for the win!!!) so I naturally want to buy it because I’m a part of it and I want to see what others have done, but I’m a broke college student living in the states….. time to ask for it for Christmas maybe?

I buy my turmeric at an Indian grocery store. I get it a bag larger than that for three dollars.

The contrast between Jamie and James is great.

My brother gave me rose petal jelly as a gift once. I put it on American biscuits, so I guess I’d suggest a plain scone to someone in the UK.

Turmeric latte!?!?? Seriously!?! All the ingredients that are in it are available in an Indian household! And most people (not me) grew up drinking turmeric milk

  12. @Smallpotato1965

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

Geez, guys! That avocado choccie novelty is actually fun. "There's no avocado in it, why would you call it 'avocade chocolate' if it doesn't have avocados in it?"… Really?!! You should see the marzipan and/or chocolate pigs, cheeses, tool kits poop-in-a-pisspot, coins etc. etc. that shops sell over here at St. Nicholas!! None of these have aKshUaL pigs, cheese, coins or poop in them!

  13. @huggledemon32

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

I wouldn’t call the chocolate avocado pretentious, just gimmicky. Because making it into an avocado shape doesn’t inherently make the chocolate seem more fancy. (I mean avocados aren’t terribly fancy right?- if it was gold plated and shaped like a gold bar- maybe then I d call it pretentious?🧐🤷‍♀️)

  14. @marjoriejohnson6535

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

I never comment on these …I want to try them all , everytime. Just for the fun of it. I used to allow one new, odd, maybe pretentious item a month when I grocery shopped. Grocery shopping was the one thing I used for entertainment…

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

isn't honey like pure sugar? You cant get more energy than pure glucose. What did they add in? Petrol?

A blend of 4 basic of basic kitchen cupboard spices- turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and pepper- calling it a "latte powder" and charging 20 quid for it isn't pretentious….?

  18. @FuSiionCraft

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

It's expensive because it's real honey (and some marketing crap) instead of the sugar syrup found in stores

  19. @cassandrakarpinski9416

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

I recently paid $17aud for honey. It was locally produced (like less than 20 mins drive from my house). It was 1.4 kg 🙂 tastes great in cupcakes

  22. @wendymacilree3228

The honey sounds cheap. Have a look at New Zealand Manuka honey.

what does "heather" taste like i have never heard of that ingredient before. is it like a flower, plant, vegatable, fruit? i have no clue what it could be

rose petal jelly is very popular in turkey. we have a city called ısparta that is famous for it's roses and they make rose petal jelly and rose flavoured turkish delights.

  30. @AbsolutePernilla

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

As a small scale beekeeper, I was offended. A n y t h i n g called honey infused with flavor, or anything else, is N O T honey, and therefore pretentious in itself. Also, heating honey above 30C° kills all the good stuff in it, that's why you should never put good honey in hot tea.

  31. @antoinettebeck6773

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

    Ugh prosecco looked awful

  32. @kimchiteagames

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

They really missed on calling it "amateursecco," huh.
(I can't believe this video is over two years old and no one's made this joke yet.)

  33. @milliegarrett8459

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

The ingredient breakdown is usually by weight, so petals being very very light, and sugar and water being heavy, 2% is probably a lot of rose petals.

  34. @chiiiiie5608

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

Barry losing his shit over James liking the Turmeric Latte is really funny

  35. @RaymondArias

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

1:12. Ben's reaction to that "Funnel of Love" is adorbs. . . .

  36. @bensonsj98

Jamie is Winnie the Pooh, confirmed.

i know im 2 years late to comment and for anyone to see this but i have had and made rose petal jam and it is quite good it is rather sweet and very floral the flavor is very mild so i would use citric acid to avoid any lemon oils due to the chance of overpowering the flavor but any ways it its verry good i would not buy it tho since i make my own but anyways if you have the chance i would by a jar

  38. @elariel01

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

The ad directly before "pretentious ingredients" was for Jimmy Choo aftershave. 😆

  39. @nopandakit8051

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

What is the point of myseco if it isn't customized? No special flavor or anything, just that it is made from a kit. Really pretentious!

  40. @garnetavi

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

Rose petal jelly is a very traditional jelly, before tropical spices were common rose was a very common pastry flavor. Rose water is made from roses so making it from that isn't really a big deal, and pectin is how you make jelly. I don't think it's pretentious because it is very old fashioned, not trying to be something fancy. Even so, his reasons were silly.

  41. @alexiskis1503

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

I'm jealous of James's perfect palatte

  42. @klaulegaspi

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

I think this is the funniest pretentious video I’ve seen so far. Hahaha

  43. @jaredrichardson78

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

1:16 Is it just me, or does it sound like James said "Ussing 500 Kilometers of…."? I know I am American and we use the devil's units of measurment, but I don't think I heard that right….

  44. @dishadharmraj6986

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

In India we have a jam made of rose petals called gulkand and it's atleast 70 rose petals and is available also everywhere

  45. @prunechat8401

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

Really enjoy the gadget and ingredient reviews. Is it possible to suggest gadgets for consideration?

  46. @adeptusmedicus

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

May have shouted a rather loud and naughty phrase when I heard the price of that chocolate… no way.

  47. @frenchfriar

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

A year on, I know, but that "chocolate avocado" looked much more like a gift soap than something edible.

I suck at working with chocolate, and I could make something that looked more like an avocado than that.

  48. @kat_the_mouse

    January 14, 2024 at 2:55 am

okay, it's been two years, WILL SOMEONE TELL ME WHY AN AVOCADO SHAPED CHOCOLATE IS SO HORRIBLE?!??

  49. @mariamojoru8695

    pumped up kicks
