We are not allowed to the edge of the world, because then we wouldn't still be dumb enough to keep giving 50 BILLION DOLLARS a year to an agency named "to deceive" in Hebrew to convince us there isn't one! Admiral Byrd got to see it though! Too bad the guy that crashed into the dome didn't see it too! Of course, you can no longer find much about it because they cracked down hard on the truth a few years ago when it was garnering too much attention. A few algorithms later & fakebook, yt & google have managed to hide the majority of it, or ban it! Don't worry though, you can still call yourselves random lizard-fish-monkeys all you want to, that's still okay. I bet this video was highly scrutinized before they allowed it to be posted with the words "edge of world" in it!

I'm not going to read all the comments but I hope someone here has explained some beautiful things you captured in oceanography; tidal rhythms (counts of waves, riptides); eddies (up and down, observed surface and unobserved subsurface). Japan has almost all the earthly oceanographic situations (as of y2000) in their environment; deadly and beautiful at the same time but it's a small island that was discovered a very long time ago and explored. I'm sure Aussie's, given the same amount of time per person per landmass oceanographic's will find more than the world thought possible. Keep adventuring… for our sake.

Obviously, this is no where near the cities where pollution and cramped living crowd out the natural environment. She is blessed to be living in such a beautiful remote area, but then again you are just seeing the highlight reel. Isolated living can be a hard, both in terms of social connections and earning a living.

Bastille Day – Europe’s attempt at collective military strength | BBC News

Published

on

A military parade has marched through the streets of Paris below clouds of red, white and blue smoke left by planes in the sky as part of Bastille Day celebrations.

Held each year on 14 July, the national holiday marks the storming of the Bastille fortress in 1789, a key event from the French Revolution.

President Emmanuel Macron was joined by European leaders, including the UK’s Sir Keir Starmer and Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky, as soldiers from Ukraine and its ‘Coalition of the Willing’ allies passed by.

The BBC’s James Waterhouse reports on the day’s celebrations.

Producer: Marianne Baisnée.

Counter terrorism police now leading investigation into Ann Widdecombe’s death | BBC News

Published

on

Counter terrorism police are now leading the investigation into the death of former Conservative minister Ann Widdecombe, after “new information and evidence has come to light”, Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) has said.

“The police are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry to establish the motivation for this attack. I will be updating the House further this afternoon,” Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said.

A 28-year-old white British man from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, was originally arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday but has now been re-arrested “on suspicion of commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism”, CTPSE said.

Police said the “dynamic and complex investigation” had led to the new arrest.

On Thursday, 78-year-old Widdecombe was found dead at her home in Haytor, Devon, having sustained serious injuries.

Sir Keir Starmer is fighting to stay on as prime minister as the pressure mounts | BBC News

Published

on

Three members of his government, including Home Office minister Jess Phillips, have resigned, whilst scores of Labour MPs are calling for him to quit following a disastrous set of elections for the party last week.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is among a number of cabinet ministers urging the prime minister to set out a departure timetable.

Sir Keir said he does not intend to quit and threw down the gauntlet to potential rivals to formally challenge him as Labour leader.

No MP has yet launched a formal bid to challenge him, which requires the backing of 81 colleagues or 20% of Labour MPs, according to party rules.
