Woman trapped in window trying to retrieve poo after Tinder date – BBC News
A woman who threw her poo out of her date’s toilet window because it “would not flush” had to be rescued after she got stuck trying to retrieve it.
The amateur gymnast was on a first date with Bristol student Liam Smith when she “panicked” and threw the faeces out of the window.
It did not land in the garden, but became wedged between two non-opening windows.
After climbing in head first after it, she became wedged.
Mr Smith had to call the fire service for help.
The story appeared on a crowdfunding page, set up by the University of Bristol student.

AUKUS partners have announced new underwater defence technologies using uncrewed systems, with capabilities expected to enter service from 2027 as part of efforts to strengthen security across the UK, US and Australia.
Three UK companies have also been awarded a share of £3m through a maritime innovation challenge, supporting the development of advanced undersea capabilities.
The announcements were made at a defence ministers’ meeting in Singapore, alongside plans for continued submarine rotations at an Australian naval base.

Buckingham Palace was handed emails six years ago that would have shown that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was sharing confidential government information while a trade envoy, according to court documents.
It has emerged that an archive of 30,000 emails, containing information about the former prince’s controversial financial dealings, was given to the Lord Chamberlain, the most senior officer in the Royal Household, in 2020.
The emails had been taken from a personal business contact of the former Prince Andrew.
When asked about what happened to the emails, Buckingham Palace said: “Since there is an ongoing police enquiry concerning Mr Mountbatten-Windsor, it is not possible to provide any comment on these matters.”
Mountbatten-Windsor has rejected any wrongdoing in his associations with Jeffrey Epstein and denied any personal gain from his role as trade envoy.

Hundreds arrested and dozens of police injured after Champions League riots in France | BBC News
A total of 219 people have been injured in clashes between football fans and police across France after Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) won the Champions League final against Arsenal.
Eight were in a serious condition, Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez said. Thousands of officers were deployed to curb unrest that disrupted bus, train and rail services in the capital, Paris. Fifty-seven of them were injured.
Nuñez said 780 people had been arrested over the violence – with more than 450 in custody. A person was found dead after an accident on Paris’s ring road, which rioters tried to block overnight.

In the Philippines we have like a water pail we use to flush the water if the poop doesn't go down. Would have avoided this if you Europeans have that. I cannot imagine a life relying on flush and the plumber if the poop doesn't go down. My poop is relatively big so yeah. Just have a pail with you guys.

I vividly remember my father telling me this story years ago, and to this day, it still gives us the laughs. Tinder dates can definitely go seriously wrong. I hope the woman's doing just fine. If anything, she should've or he could've called a plumber or something to actually unclog the toilet. Throwing the 'baggage' out the window will only make things worse. It's gonna smell really badly and we wouldn't want that.
